The only reason the Incredibles needed a sequel since it had a cliffhanger ending which after LOONGGG YEARS its finally true, but the waiting for few years... time to see if anyone is gonna overdose and have a few year coma and when they wake up they see the incredibles 2 trailer on tv saying its out. I have been waiting years for this moment.
Oh lord its Cars 3... the first film was eh its not bad, the second was a piece of money making shit, the third will be worse I can already feel it in my veins.
What if pulls a 'Toy Story' and the characters are all 10 years older? JackJack is Dash's age, Dash is in late teens and Vi is mid twenties. Would be pretty cool but Bob has already had a midlife crisis so I don't know how he would be different 10 years on
Bob would be a grouchy middle-aged man, so basically Robert De Niro in most of the comedies he's been in.
the good dinosaur looks sick
Finding Dory. My life is complete.
I'm starting to get nostalgic for the days when Pixar came up with a new and interesting IP every year. Apparently Disney would rather they just churn out merchandising-friendly sequels.
I hope Incredibles 2 will be incredible like the first Incredibles
they also confirmed shrek 5 earlier
hoping that incredibles 2 is made by the proper pixar studio
hoping that incredibles 2 is made by the proper pixar studio
pixar vancouver shut down in october
the main pixar studio is all there is.
I hope the soundtrack will be as good as the first
other than to say director Brad Bird is back for “The Incredibles 2″
Hands down
Gonna be Good.
i think what most people are missing about Cars is the fact that it was largely marketed towards a younger audience and is presented as such and is probably why a lot of people don't like it because it isn't Pixar's normal "aimed at kids, but sufferable for adults so that they don't have to nod off in the theatre" formula.
Fuck i'm to old to watch it now :(
The only reason you should mention 'too old' and 'pixar movies' in the same sentence is when saying you're never too old for them.
Consider me officially hyped.
At least writing-wise, the Incredibles was one of, if not the best, Pixar film. There isn't a single scene in the film you can take out and not completely break the story. It was both funny and dark, which is damn hard to pull off as perfectly as it did. It was original in it's plot, and it's characters (not talking about their powers.)
The kid in me always wanted a sequel, but I know it's never going to live up to the original. You can only get everything right so many times.
Cars and Monsters Inc. are the only two films that don't need another movie tied to it, but for some reason, Disney wanted more money.
The Incredibles needed a sequel. It ended on a god damn cliffhanger I tell ya. The video game doesn't count.
That game didn't exist I tell ya.
Nobody here seems to believe me, but damnit that game never happened.

they wouldnt be making a sequel if they didnt think it would be as good as the original. cars doesnt count because the sequels were produced primarily by disney, not pixar
Incredibles Sequel. Fuck yeah about time.
And no shits were given about Cars 3. I didn't hate the first Cars but hell it was a movie about Cars how can you make 3 installments AND Planes?
Looking forward to Incredibles 2, but Cars 3 sounds disappointing.
I'd like to think that Pixar is above milking it's properties.
Cars 2 and Planes are for the little kids. My 4-6 year old cousins were way into the Cars franchise. One of them even dressed up as Lightning McQueen for Halloween.

THat costume is like taping an onion to your shirt and saying you're shrek.
The Incredibles 2! The Incredibles 2!
Pretty excited, more excited for Incredibles, but I liked cars.
Also Finding Dory should be pretty good imo.
Fuck yes The Incredibles 2!

Well considering Syndrome got sucked into a plane turbine, i doubt he'd be coming back.
Might wanna put some spoiler tags around that, homeboy.

It was released 10 years ago.

It's still a major plot point, time is irrelevant.

Doesnt stop people from talking about spoilers from other old movies.
Who spoils anything when referring to the Star Wars movies.
do kids actually like Cars though? they spent more money on Cars 2 than any other movie(with only monsters university having the same budget) and it was one their movies that made the least ammount of cash, cars 1 also made less cash than most others(it was still a shitload of money, but when the highest ones brought 600 million-1 billion).
You forget merch.
Cars has an incredible amount of merch behind it.
