but do you trust the Trump administration to do that? at best i expect them to just destroy the government and leave all the civilians to rot under a purely symbolic leader.
I trust the UN and South Koreans with it. South Korea doesn't recognize the government of North Korea and wouldn't allow the US to establish a government in the North. They have an entire ministry in their government dedicated to reuniting the country, and no doubt have military and civil plans for what to do with North Korea in the aftermath of war.
Sounds like this is the escalation to real actions that nobody can take back.
12 Americans being detained within 7 years, most of which are for bullshit reasons, is pretty bad dude
"most of which are bullshit" let's be real here, most of those americans detained you don't know shit about the incident they were detained for (who really does) and you're just making a broad statement... despite a few of those cases having people detained for actions they knew would get them in trouble traveling to north korea as an american isn't a wise decision but your chances of being detained are relatively slim if you follow their rules
Gotta love it when communists get mad if someone calls North Korea an example of communism, but proceed to defend it rather fervently whenever the US takes action.
As someone relatively familiar with the communist community, those tend to be two different kinds of people.

A religious coup to overthrow the regime? What?) Seems like pretty bullshit. I mean of course they have their laws but come the fuck on.
