Mark Carney is now speaking to try to calm everyone the fuck down
Maybe off topic, but do I need a visa to travel from Sweden to the UK now that they voted?
Maybe off topic, but do I need a visa to travel from Sweden to the UK now that they voted?
Not yet but in a couple of years probably yes.
I remember it dropping when everyone was saying narrow victory for stay.
Sort of but don't misrepresent it. Pound went up because remain was predicted to win then it started dropping when newcastle result came in. They expected it to be a remain stronghold and it turned out 50/50. [editline]24th June 2016[/editline]
Is there reason to believe that it will last long term?
Yeah. British economy relies very heavily on the financial sector. Financial sector is very hard hit by this, barcelys was down 35% this morning. Lots of banks are considering a move to europe in light of the results. I don't like the reliance on the financial sector but for us to lose it to another country will be pretty devastating to our economy.
Another great response from my parents. "Yeah fuck it's all bullshit, it's all the media trying to scare us!" "We'll get through it, this is better for britian as we don't need more of those cunts in our country." I want to leave this country.
Didn't Farage say this would happen in the beginning then it would get better?
It seems to have stabilised at an 8% drop now. If anything it's only going to get worse before it gets better, since we haven't actually left yet, and Scotland wants another referendum.
Didn't Farage say this would happen in the beginning then it would get better?
I wouldn't take Farage as a reliable source of good information.
Seems like GBP is quite a volatile currency.
I wouldn't take Farage as a reliable source of good information.
But he said the pound would drop and it did... I don't have the video on hand but its one of the recent Q&A YouTubes.
But he said the pound would drop and it did... I don't have the video on hand but its one of the recent Q&A YouTubes.
a fucking dog could have told you that, of course the pound will drop if we pull out of our biggest trade agreement
Did they really have to do this right at the start of Steam sales?
Seems like GBP is quite a volatile currency.
Well, it wasn't, up until about 12 hours ago.
But he said the pound would drop and it did... I don't have the video on hand but its one of the recent Q&A YouTubes.
I really cannot believe that there are people this gullible that allowed this to happen, even though I'm looking at one. Christ, this really is the year of the ignorant.
Well, it wasn't, up until about 12 hours ago.
In fact right before the vote it was going up because everyone was convinced in a Remain victory.
