But the chicken shop said it will honour his efforts, provided he eats at the 900 other stores around the world.
That's a lot of expense, and chicken, to get a card that lets you eat their chicken for free for the rest of your life. It might even be more expensive
Its just a upmarket [and significantly tastier] KFC.
Chicken Cottage is better than both combined.

Way more food for what you pay, chicken's not dry as fuck like KFC can be, lots of variety, huge portions of (Awesome) chips
You find KFC to be dry? I find it's wet. Not moist, but full on wet. You could probably ring it out and get a few tablespoons of grease and water out of each piece.

pretty sure franchises have standardized procedures for preparing food.
pretty sure franchises have standardized procedures for preparing food.
point being? just because there's a "standard procedure" doesn't mean that every single person working at each and every outlet of that franchise will follow them exactly the same way, resulting in the exact same end product - it's just absurd to even think that.

Uh... yes it does. If you eat enough of a certain product then you should be able to find the average qualities of that product. The average across multiple chains of the same franchise should be standard which is the entire point.

should be standard, yes. the fact that you two are in disagreement about whether it's dry or soggy should be indication enough that it's not the case in the real world - can't you see that?
fwiw; in my local area they are neither overly dry nor soggy, but the chips are always horribly mushy!

well in his defence, when i went down to brighton last it was pretty dry, so it's entirely possible he's not.
when it comes down to it, we're arguing about damned fried chicken here :v:
pretty sure franchises have standardized procedures for preparing food.
I noticed the KFCs in Australia don't taste very good, and made me feel slightly sick, and use a different gravy recipe. Of course this was in Alice Springs.

Depending on how long the chicken has been in the warmer, KFC can vary from "oh shit my arteries" to "oh shit my throat". There might be standards, but the employees aren't robots and will fuck up some times.
Though the only dry KFC I've ever had was the chicken strips they used to do over here. Breast fillet stuff is always fine.

Granted the last kfc i had was months ago but from the restaurants in my area, the quality is very inconsistent, don't think I've had a meal I've fully enjoyed from there. Chicken Cottage, on the other hand, is always godly.
i agree that the quality is inconsistent, but i've always found their chicken to be wet.
but maybe im wrong idk
