When I got my license, I had to show my birth certificate and social security card, or resident card. Illegals don't have any of the last two.

And you say they don't contribute to the economy? Bullshit. They keep product prices low because their employers don't have to pay as much in labor costs. You should be thanking them. Why do people even have to go through so much trouble to legally immigrate? You can be born in this country and not have to file tons of documents, prove your experience, and wait a decade before being a citizen. Why should an adult have to do the same? This really has nothing to do with a person being illegal or deserving a weapon or not, the second amendment simply does not cover a non-citizen of the United States. A point was brought up that was dumbed-down, but it's perfectly correct. Illegal immigrants, as human beings, possibly have a need for a weapon for self-defense and whatnot. What makes this impossible for them is that they are not covered by the second amendment to the Bill of Rights (which shouldn't apply to normal citizens anyway, but not going to go down that road). No anti-illegal hate necessary.
