Honestly, I don't think they're going after the emo "culture" because of a speech issue, they're going after it because they're not used to it like, say, the United States, or Europe, or other countries that have had them since around the 80's.
One could probably hazard the guess that the Armenian government sees the emo "culture" as a sort of suicide-cult :/ I mean, you live in a place like that, and all of the sudden this sub-culture pops up where kids wear dark clothes, cut themselves and even commit suicide?
