I love how you killed your own argument and credibility saying socialism and communism are the same thing or are very closely related.
You accuse us of being ignorant? What comes next.

I never said they are the same thing..
Communism is socialism perverted to the extreme... that's irrefutable.
We can't expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism,

Yep, but socialism ISN'T communism. They may be related, but they're so fucking far apart it's ridiculous to lump them in the same anti communistic red scare bullshit.

Only thing I can think of related to that is the gold buyout of 1928 or something like that.

The Federal reserve may actually ruin the market in general. Their ability, and frequent use of said ability, to print money and devalue debt is really pretty shitty. Though I know of no realistic alternative.
Not that I am some super capitalist or something. My economic policies tend to lean towards being more socialist than anything.
Mostly I just desire a simple market. The stock market in general needs to go. The original idea was great, but it has become something detrimental to society. As a nation we just generally need to stop with our greed. That greed puts us deep in debt working ourselves to death to pay off homes and cars that we can't reasonably afford.
How is government manipulation of capital and credit part of the free market?
"How is the earth flat, strider?"
"HOW ISN'T IT FLAT"
this technique will not work on me, now answer the question
but the federal reserve prints money after inflation begins
Why the fuck is going off derp and herping over communism?
The issue at hand is how this plan, on top of social security ballooning to 40% of the federal budge, and the massive cost of continuing to run two mostly symbolic wars, while at the same time giving the Military a blank check to do what ever the fuck they want, wilde he US economy fucked and nobody willing to lift a finger China other than to sign some more loan papers while nobody on the Federal Level is willing to touch anything, is any fucking good at this time? In the meanwhile the plan was more symbolic than useful considering Obama decided to waste 2 years trying to get it passed while not doing shit to fix the shit Bush fucked up horribly
Ending Of Corporate welfare? Nope
Euthanizing Social Security? Nope
Ending the tax cuts for the rich? Nope
Ending the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars? Nope
Ending the illegal prison at Gitmo? Nope
Ending Lobbying? Nope
Cutting the Defense Budget? Nope
Put any effort into fixing the Economy other than waiting for it to bottom out and the convenient blip on the map from the Census jobs to happen to claim he did something? nope
Pass A Healthcare Bill That Never Will Go Into Effect? YES, EVERYONE LOOK, LOOK AT WHAT WE DID, WE PASS HEALTHCARE, FORGET THE ECONOMY, WE HAS MEDICINES
God I wish Clinton was back, I'll gladly give up my right to bare assault rifles if it means he is back to fix shit since apparently everyone else in Washington is too retarded or too afraid of losing votes to get shit down

Both manipulation of capital and credit are incompatible with the free market because they are enforced by well... force and coercion.
In a free market we would not have a national bank as all of the United States founding fathers intended, well... other than that dolt Hamilton.

The federal reserve caused the great depression...
Oh fuck what are you going to do now that I've contradicted your US history textbook?

Back that up, I can see you saying that, I can't see you proving that.

The US was growing rapidly during the 1920's hence the "roaring twenties".
From 1929 to 1933 the total amount of currency in the United States declined by one third and the total number of banks went down by one third. It declined because the federal reserve refused to do anything about it even though it was in their ability.
If it had prevented this decline there still might have been a recession but it would have been over by 1931.
There were congressman, bankers, and citizens all petitioning the restrictive policies of the federal reserve before this point and to take another path but nevertheless they failed.

Nothing, you "proved" your point.
What's funny is a lot of you guys that are so against capitalism don't realize that the federal reserve is a privately owned corporation.

I knew that. We pointed that out so fucking long ago.

You've got such a hard on for yourself, you don't actually read the thread, you just post what you think is most relevant. to yourself.
You've got such a hard on for yourself.
This is true
Why are you two guys arguing about Communism and Capitalism?
Nation wide implication of communism has always ended in complete failure, and Capitalism is the dominant system and it's not going away, so why argue about it?
Page fucking 9, the start of this argument we pointed out that factoid. You apparently don't read the arguments you get involved with enough to know that. No wonder it always seems like madlibs.

If I don't agree with the current system, but there doesn't seem to be an end in sight, we shouldn't talk about it? Great logic there.

Precisely. When making a claim, be sure to come prepared with evidence to back it up.
