There will be all sort of ethical issues with prosthetic and cybernetics limbs when they become advanced enough though.
People will start amputating their limbs on purpose just so they can have cybernetic limbs, because they'll be better than the real thing, eventually.
I'm kind of worried how we're going to deal with it.
I'm actually not too worried about these would-be post-humans. There are too many things, sensations, activities to touch, feel and engage in that require the level of responsiveness, the sense of touch and finesse only your very own biological standard issue hardware boasts. Brute strength/power or speed is one thing, but the ability to act upon our surroundings with the gentleness of a feather is wholly different. A robot arm geared to lift things, for example, will never allow you to caress someone with the warmth and playfulness that your mitts do.
you'd need way more extensive augmentation for that then, because otherwise the super strong arms would literally be too strong for your weak fleshy body to support. you'd probably have to extensively improve your torso and legs too
Whatever it takes to keep up I guess, the advantages out way the disadvantages in my eyes.

But your other arm can.

I've read up on this and apparently they have quite a few developments on touch and finesse for Prosthetic/Cybernetic limbs.

Very cool stuff.
honestly i always think about this re:deus ex. mechanical augmentations that amplify strength and stuff like that to inordinate levels would cause serious effects throughout the rest of the body. if you slap a couple of cyborg arms on you that doesn't mean you'll suddenly be able to pick up a car - in order to do that you'd have to replace EVERY limb as well as your spine in order to not just crumple into dust when you try. the forces aren't isolated to your arms, lifting things and doing all sorts of shit is done with the whole body.
and you're still bound by the rules of physics either way. trying to lift a car one-handed is just gonna break off the part you're holding, as the force required for your fingertips to hold it in place would just combine with the weight of the car past that point and snap that chunk clean off, probably flattening you. imho if people really did have the power to do these incredible things, injuries would just skyrocket from them doing dumb shit and not thinking it through

They already are tbh, its crazy what they can all do.
...does it hook up to your nervous system and shit? If so, that is fucking AWESOME.
On another note, fuck yeah Dean Kamen! Guy made FIRST, and is an all-around amazing person

I'm not concerned about hygiene, I'm concerned that people will start abusing the technology.

Here comes Deus Ex: Human Revolution's plot, just barreling down the road at us.
If you lost a limb, would you rather get a fully functional prosthesis or have it regrown using stem cell magic?
I saw this shit in action.
Went to the Willis Tower in Chicago, stepped out of the elevator, and right in front of me was a dude with a fucking cybernetic leg being trailed by press guys.
Saw him in the news not long after. Turns out he climbed all the steps in the tower.
The crazy part was I thought nothing of it. This kind of stuff isn't even surprising anymore considering how advanced we are. Truly it is the future.
Automails?

Cybernetic skeletal/muscular function with stem cell grown terminator-like flesh covering.

Found a demo video for you guys:

Woah, that sure looks smooth. Certainly not as much as a real arm, but it's still impressive.
One thing I noticed is that he tend to use his shoulder a lot more to compensate, but handling would probably get easier with practice.
One thing I'm not quite sure to understand is whether it's commanded through nerve inputs or muscles in other parts of the body. Apparently it was the latter in the video but they mentioned there would be different means of input.
