Arizona Secretary of State Threatens To Remove Obama From Ballot

Georgia did the same thing and my dad was like cheering it on.
I didn't know Hawaiian birth certificates had a field for which island you were born on.
That's nifty.
I would imagine Hawaii treats each island like its own county, so instead of drawing county lines they would just be separated like that. So then instead of county on a birth certificate it would be island.
This is all just spitballing, mind you.
Oh god you're one of them aren't you?
Man, Arizona is such a nice place too. It's such a shame how bad the government is down there.
Just to be clear, I support Obama as much as the next guy, but the law is the law and everyone should follow it, especially the president.
Who cares if he is from another country? Wherever you come from doesn't affect your ability to run a country.
I never said anything else.

What about this?

That article offers not one shred of conclusive proof that the certificate is indeed faked. Just a lot of bullshit speculation. And I'm fairly certain you're a birther.
You see, the government would have done their own digging, and wouldn't have let him in if he weren't legit.
Who cares if he is from another country? Wherever you come from doesn't affect your ability to run a country.
But what stops someone who has little experience of American culture, the needs of the people, someone who hasn't even grown up on the streets of a regular suburb or city. I don't want someone running my country like that.
I agree, but it's still the law nonetheless.
[editline]19th May 2012[/editline]
You obviously didn't read the whole article, this was a huge issue when it came out, but people forgot about it. Unless someone solved the case it's still a major issue.
The very first postulation in that article is a clear fabrication. Open the image and zoom in on the R - You'll see there's no pixellation whatsoever. The writer of the article applied a pixellation filter to the image. Why is it that America's first black president has his legitimacy questioned more than any other president in US history? No coincidence, I think.

So how come rich people get elected and people don't seem to have a problem with that?
The first part doesn't matter, read the whole article.
Oh, and someone should mention that layers in a document can't be preserved when converted to image format. I use adobe Illustrator. The writer of that article is full of shit, and you're an idiot for eating it up.

In fact, I'll open it in Illustrator right now to make my point.

This is hilarious. None of this is evidence of tampering, only of scanners and the jpeg file format.
I didn't know that. Neither did all of Facepunch when it was an issue.
I did. Way the hell back then. Just because you were ignorant as all hell doesn't mean the rest of us were, too.
I didn't know that. Neither did all of Facepunch when it was an issue.
If it didn't have any anomalies people would call that evidence of tampering too. The only "issue" here is people like you who actually believe this shit because you don't understand the information you're being given, only the spin put on it by the author, and your childish fearmongering media for making this an issue in the first place.
And it's been proven countless times he has. This all smacks of subtle rascism to me - "He's black, therefore he must have born in a different country!"
nothing subtle about it.
I can see that.
Right, they can't. It's called rasterizing - It's the fusing of layers together. What Adobe Illustrator CAN do is smart selection - To select and edit out areas of high contrast - Like text, for example, out of a document. So the guy who wrote the article opened illustrator, broke the document up, and cried fake.

motherfucker vote man vote.
For every person who has said "I'm from Arizona and we're not all that bad," you would be able to vote these kinds of bastards out of power.
Seems fair. If Obama wasn't born in the US he can't be president. It's the law.
You mean the guy who is already the president right now? Because that would imply that the federal government didn't check their facts when they let him file his candidacy 4 years ago.
Besides, if I recall correctly, it was already released, and no further evidence will convince anyone who isn't already convinced. Just what exactly would you need written on a piece of paper that you would consider legitimate?
This was stupid 4 years ago and it's stupid now.
Besides, if I recall correctly, it was already released
On like three separate occasions, including the long-form as a big "seriously fuck you guys."

OCR software that was still on made the layers. You can do it yourself with a scanner that supports OCR.
Sounds reasonable from a state that doesn't believe in Daylight Savings.

They don't do DST because a good portion of the population is in a desert. They do not need a extra hour of sunlight at the end of the day just to save a buck because when the average temp is above 100 degrees each day, those savings don't mean much.
How do we know that Romneys Grandfather wasn't an Illegal? He went to Mexico to escape religious persecution and to fuck his multiple wives, but how do we know he emmigrated legally? Is Romneys dad an anchor baby?
I want a copy of Romneys Birth Certificate, his dads, AND his grandfathers. How can we keep coming back to Obamas nationality without it being racist?

It's called Pima County motherfuckaaaaa. It's where all the SANE Arizonans live. We ride bikes, wear cowboy boots and love gay people and social welfare as much as any Portlander out there :v:
Seriously, SOUTHERN ARIZONA IS A DIFFERENT STATE. *cough*BajaArizona*cough*
We are abused by Phoenix, who tries to pass shit laws to make sure Pima doesn't get the proper funding it needs to try and drive us out of the state. Trust me, after working two campaign seasons, it's more than some crazy conspiracy.
