Hitler really was a great public speaker.
He had a spectacular ability to effectively control his pitch and his tone. Both are really highlighted in his "They wanted war" speech.
Amazing speaker, great artist.
His writing is pretty crappy actually, the editors note at the beginning of Mein Kampf (I started to read it but I wasn't that interested so gave up quite quickly) says that he writes like a speaker, which isn't necessarily conducive to good writing.
That's because he dictated most of it. There are even parts where his sentence ends in the middle which seems like he or his writer just stopped and nobody bothered to check.
I think your other Hitler avatar was better, imo.

Of course. I thought it was generally accepted that Hitler was fucked up from an ideals standpoint, but was a very gifted public speaker.
Hitler was a genius in general. Incredible speaker and tactician. The only reason he lost D-Day was because he fucking overslept and nobody had the balls to wake him and ask for help incase he blew his lid. The Nazis was a pretty fucking formidable and terrifying force, they even dressed intimidating and really fucked shit up. if that weakspot wasn't exploited who knows how different the war would've gone. That said I wouldn't wake Hitler up, you fucking keep the mood happy with that man or he'll fucking kill you in a horrible way. He did a lot of work on German transport too. It's just a shame he was a complete fucking violent extremist.
no Hitler wasn't a genius at all, stop trying to rewrite history read a biography on him and you'll see that he was a shitty tactician, and it cost them a lot of victories

He was a bloody idiot tactician.

A lot of Germanies losses and dumb decisions were Hitlers fault. It's one thing saying he was a good speaker but saying he was a good tactician is dumb as hell, if your Dday thing is true I'd bet no one wanted to wake him up for his shitty ideas.
This thread glosses over a far more shocking story... ...Arnold wrote a fucking book.
no Hitler wasn't a genius at all, stop trying to rewrite history read a biography on him and you'll see that he was a shitty tactician, and it cost them a lot of victories
"Mein Fuhrer, we have made a rocket that can hit a target and cause severe damage!" "Vunderbat! Use it on London!"
"Mein Fuhrer, we have made a rocket that can hit a target and cause severe damage!" "Vunderbat! Use it on London!"
"Mein Furher we're running low on resources, should we build a load more panzers?" "Nein build a giant panzer that probably won't even make it into the war, and if it does will become a giant target for zeh enemy bombers!"
Hitler was amazingly talented at Public speaking, but his writing, painting and about everything else of his was fucking garbage.
to everyone saying hitler was a great artist I have bad news, hitler was a very mediocre painter and only painted landscapes due to his knowledge of shapes thanks to his architec studies.
Even so, a hell of a lot better than most of the art students at my university.
Do we all agree that he was a man who was quite good at drawing and talking but had bad ideas? He was like a german mark speight.
So he could kinda paint. Big deal...so could Thomas Kinkaid. Hitler was no Bob Ross, goddamnit.
It's a well known fact that Hitler was also a sensitive man.
I admire his really great speaking abilities, he was really able to get his point out for the wrong reasons. I don't admire his views or what he did, he's an evil man but was intelligent to get a whole nation to drop to their knees
Hitler's speaking ability should be admired. Hell, Hitler/Nazis in general should be studied more in schools. The "means to his end" are interesting and quite incredible sometimes.
Couldn't we just focus on all the equally talented and far less genocidal people? Always pointing out the few not horrible things Hitler or Nazis did at best sounds needlessly pedantic about just exactly how detestable the Nazis were. Like it would just be unfair to Hitler to always concentrate on the negatives.

no person has completely gassed a nation quite like Hitler, it doesn't really bear repeating
hitler did nothing wrong
no person has completely gassed a nation quite like Hitler, it doesn't really bear repeating
So censoring and ignoring it like Germany does is the right course of action :v:

Now imagine if Fox News visited this thread.
Of course. I thought it was generally accepted that Hitler was fucked up from an ideals standpoint, but was a very gifted public speaker.
He also did a lot to bring Germany out of economic depression. And he promoted the idea of a car affordable enough for the average working person, and sponsored the creation of the KdF Wagen factory which eventually became Volkswagen's first factory. But he was still a giant dick.
I think Hitler did pretty well. He did a lot of research without testing on animals, which is always good.
