Most likely
Global warming.
I wonder if this happens normally and we are only noticing because the media are reporting it, and the media continues to report it because everyone has noticed.
120 years ago, the other coldest time in britain, this probably happened and nobody even thought twice about it [editline]5th January 2011[/editline]
I wonder if this happens normally and we are only noticing because the media are reporting it, and the media continues to report it because everyone has noticed.
actually normal changes of climate, global warming or otherwise, kill a lot of sea life, just never really to this degree or this noticeably. for example, in warm summers most of the plankton and small filter organisms near surface die, causing the ocean and the surrounding areas to wreak at night and in the morning when it's cooler and windier. however this is still unusual
It's global warming I tells ye! Bringing around the new Ice Age! Edit:
Thread music
Disagree, I think this better suits the occasion: :tinfoil:
Fish, crabs and birds dead what's next?
humans
Sea life is very sensitive and the slightest change can cause die offs. I'm not to worried about this yet. When sharks and whales start washing up in large numbers I'll get scared. I heard someone on here said the Chinese thought it was a magnetic flux or something? If that was the case then thousands of whales and sharks should have been dead already considering they use the earths magnetic field as a road map, it is as important to them as radar, windows, and sonar are to ships. If you tamper with it they will most likely die or beach themselves.
It's the oil spill. Did everyone just fucking forget about it?
no kill yourself.
It's swamp gas from a weather balloon that was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus
It's swamp gas from a weather balloon that was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus
I can't believe I didn't think of this before! It's so obvious!
It's swamp gas from a weather balloon that was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus
Careful, I got banned for swamp gas once. :(
What about the spah crabs,
There's tons of reason why this is happening that aren't religious related, most of the reasons wouldn't be recorded so we cant directly link them.
I believe it's time for a map! I think this may be and affect from the oil spill, yes it may be quite awhile but no doubt we didn't get every last bit of it, maybe some sunk really deep into the ocean and is still down there traveling all the oceans. I could be wrong but you never know since no one knows yet.
This is not helping us who say "2012 isn't real" It's only the beginning. :saddowns:
It's global warming I tells ye! Bringing around the new Ice Age!
you're probably laughing it off or some shit but melting the ice caps via global warming or otherwise both cools the water down and raises the water levels thereby having higher heat absorption capabilities and staying cooler longer. not to mention melting ice puts off a very cold vapor. [editline]6th January 2011[/editline]
This is not helping us who say "2012 isn't real" It's only the beginning. :saddowns:
only nearly 2 years too early
I find it funny how Baby Vanga never predicted this.

I could be wrong but you never know since no one knows yet.
The oil is at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. For the oil to effect the rest of the worlds oceans it would have to get into the Gulf Stream current (which it damn near almost did) which would flow the oil directly through fragile reef ecosystems. If the oil made it out of the Gulf of Mexico a catastrophic mass extinction of Florida reefs and sea life would be an indicator. That's not to say some of it probably made it into the Gulf Stream, but it would be so diluted by then that it would do very little damage. You have to remember that millions of gallons of oil seep into the oceans every year from natural causes. Diluted trace amounts(key word here, oil spills are catastrophic because of the amount of oil spilled in the given time and small area of the disaster.) of petroleum in the ocean is nothing new.
Video from Delaware: http://www.vgtv.no/?id=35315 [editline]5th January 2011[/editline] Now it's happening in Louisiana. EDIT: Fish are dying in Arkansas, New Zealand, Brazil and Maryland, birds are dying and falling from the sky in Delaware, Arkansas, Louisiana and Sweden. I think the dead birds are because they ate the dead fish. Yeah, they found them before but still, that could be a possibility.
1000 YEARS AGO AT THE FINAL SENTIENT BIRD GATHERING "The humans are advancing more and more each day! At this rate they'll start taking to the skies!" said Gunther, with fear in his beady bird eyes. The head of the bird council hopped up onto his perch. "The humans have grown too strong, if we had snuffed them out while they were still in the trees we wouldn't be here, facing our end of days." "But it was the law! We had to let them evolve, to see if they could match us in our kindness. Not a single one of us could have predicted this aggressive turn in their lives!" Charlie said with a skree. "There is one last thing we can do, we will create a new race of humans. We will tell them the future. Everything that will happen until the year 2012. That will be the day of death for their people. After many fruitful years we will eradicate them, leaving only clues to this horrible doomsday behind for mondern man to find and fear. To quiet any thoughts of hoax, we will all start faking our deaths. In the end humans will destroy themselves in the panic of a false end, and we will once rise up and reclaim our throne!" Its a plan that is sure to rustle a few feathers!
I will be scared when we find a million whales dead in Arizona.
I will be scared when we find a million whales dead in Arizona.
Arizona isn't near the ocean.
I'm not scared until the norwegian elk starts dying.
