Personally I just think all of this is related to the Oil Spill, that's just me.
My Theroy
The Oil spill caused this.
The Gulf of mexico is a huge ass of water, we don't know what the oil spill caused.
The gulf of mexico is linked to the Mississippi River, Which Starts here and goes to a shitload of places

Arkansas and Louisiana Are connected to the Mississippi river.
That could explain the dead birds, they drink from the river and they die.
As for the brazillian fish, the oil could of reached a current and launched it into brazillian waters.
The gulf stream runs the opposite direction from Brazil. If any of the oil got in that we'd see catastrophic die offs on Caribbean reef systems and possibly even oil waste far up north. That was one of the biggest worries for scientists during the spill. I'm pretty sure the oil spill has nothing to do with the Brazilian fish die off.
pestilence ain't cool enough for this death-orgy
Fuck that shit, this reeks of Nurgle...

the population density of frogs run in predictable cycles that only appear random. whole populations can die out for no reason other than the way the numbers work

Explain how birds have been dying in Sweden then
Explain how birds have been dying in Sweden then
Swamp gas :v:
/joke
Nah, its just nature playing Age of Birds 2 and pressing delete on birds which kills them because of the population cap.
Just read that between 50-100 birds dropped dead somewhere in Sweden as well.
If it was a storm that killed both flocks, what about the fish? It's getting hard to believe this was just a coincidence.
It's the zombie flu.
that's cool i hope they make a movie out of it
They already did, it's called Signs.
In other words, we have nothing to be afraid of.
For no reason, birds came flying into the ground. If only we could have seen it, we could understand.
Don't worry. I just happened to be building a drill, capable of traveling to the core of the earth... I guess I was just bored.
my theory is that they all died

Falköping, Sweden.
The mass death of birds has reached Sweden.
In the U.S. thousands has already dropped dead from the sky.
- I immediately thought that there must be a connection, "said Drilon Hulaj, 23, who discovered hundred of dead birds in the middle of the street in Falköping last night.
Streets, rooftops and lawns were covered by thousands of black birds in Beebe Arkansas in the United States on New Year's Day.
And now, the mass death reached Sweden. On their way home from work just before midnight Drilon Hulaj and his peers colleagues suddenly saw that the street in front of them was covered with black bird corpses, probably jackdaws.
-We drove quite slowly and slowed down. I stepped out and took a picture. We had read about bird death in the U.S. and thought that there must be a connection, "said Drilon.
- We got a call ten to twelve in the night, went to the street and noted that there were about 100 dead or nearly dead birds, "says Andreas Wedebrand, officer of the police in Skövde.
The police then contacted the County Board, the municipality and the Rescue service who decided to cordon off the road. This morning police shoveled away the dead birds after a district veterinary had picked up five for further tests.
- We are waiting to hear from the vet before we do anything more with the dead birds. We want a directive on how to deal with them, " says Christer Olofsson, head of operations at Rescue service in Falköping.
Yet the macabre discovery is mysterious - it was several days after New Year celebrations.

Last time I read it was between 50-100. Not hundreds. Another source said 40.
