One year sentence? Heh, and I thought Britain was bad. Just because you've had six years of good service, doesn't mean you should get the minimum of the law. Now will you understand why you should stop posting? Just because a select few officers are malevolent, doesn't mean every chump with a brass is going to go on a full-on asshole spree.
A select few is too many, in my opinion. We need better checks and shit on power obsessed bastards like this, it happens all too often.
So he isn't even going to be on the sex offenders' list? What the fuck.
A select few is too many, in my opinion. And you're not going to prevent any of it until we have either mind reading or deep-conscious interrogations.
HEY BROS the point is they don't get prosecuted when they do bad shit if you ever need me to point out the mind numbingly obvious in the future just give me a pm k
If that's all the service record you need to get off when you rape a transsexual hooker, what kind of record do you need to get off when you rape a biological woman
You need to leave
i need to leave because you guys can't think on any real meaningful level lol
That must've been some hot tranny.
You could say that for just about any occupation. And you're not going to prevent any of it until we have either mind reading or deep-conscious interrogations.
We put the police specifically in a position where they are entrusted to protect us. We allow them to carry weapons, we give them authority to arrest, search and stop us. This sort of career cries out to megalomaniacs and men with self-image issues, people who like to throw their weight around. You can't really say the same for careers like plumbers or journalists or social workers, which is why we aren't bombarded with reported injustices like this.
No, you need to leave because you're being an idiot
lol ok ya im really the idiot here [editline]27th January 2011[/editline] since some of you guys are too dense to tell what i was saying i will explain it to you cop rapes tranny cop gets off on misdeamenor cop is now above law this is right how? why should i trust or even like cops when they are essentially a higher class citizen than me

The above the law thing is an issue inherent in the structure and culture of the police and the justice system. Your average joe cop out doing regular cop things and not abusing his power isn't at fault here, it's just a problem with the entire system that needs revamping. We see the same shit with prosecutor immunity and such, it's not some average prosecutor's fault. I'm just as pissed off as you about this issue but it's not an excuse to go hating cops altogether.
What if I asked really nicely to get raped, and then did a bunch of work for the person I wanted to rape me?
Then it's not rape, because you consent to it.

I have trust issues so I automatically hate cops.
Let me guess. The cop's gonna get less time than the prostitute. Disgusting.
So, a cop rapes two people and gets 1 year for inflicting long-term trauma on these individuals? I fail to see any sort of justice here. It seems more symbolic than anything.
A year of prison is pretty horrible
A year of prison is pretty horrible
so is using your position of authority to rape 2 people and then using that position again to get far reduced sentences compared to anyone else if they did the same crime
A year of prison is pretty horrible
Versus lifelong trauma and an increased risk of suicide, substance abuse, and clinical depression? Mmk.

Of course, fully trusting a cop (or anyone) isn't a good idea, either.
He raped me, too!
:effort:
Maybe they considered it shoplifting :downsrim:
Fucking corrupt system FML.
I wonder if the tranny was hot.
Personally I don't hate cops, just a bit wary of them when they got sticks and shit to hit me with.
hey my dad's a cop and i don't trust him either. most of the station where he works are all bent anyway. ( bent = crooked ofc ) and he's used his interrogation tactics on me more than once to dig info out of me. Fuckin CID bastard.
lol was he accused for stealing
cops are protected from the law, THIS IS THE PRObLEM

However, when I see a cop should I immediately think good or bad? It's a lot better to be wary and distrustful of a person who could practically get away with murdering someone in cold blood. I agree that a lot of cops are good people or at least decent people who don't abuse their position, but the fact that they are above the law in the first place makes me incredibly dubious of them.

Whilst I am personally friends with a couple guys who are cops, this doesn't mean that I will trust every cop I see; rather, the opposite. As the potential for a great deal of abuse exists, I am incredibly untrustful of them.
