i'll take the piece of hardware and you can keep your bullshit thank you very much
All the next xbox needs is decent hardware.

that sounds like it's describing a service where you can download video games and pay for them using your console? how is that a bad thing
it's called the 720 because you turn 720 degrees and walk away
Fuck that. Look at what we're capable of right now. Look at the horse power video cards have, and the amount of RAM we can cram in the same space as a few Kb used to take. The Xbox can do pretty good graphics for chicken shit hardware compared to today's. So Upgrade it
the industry seriously needs more kinect games
and bring back the udraw tablet

So?! Video games are not cakes!
God damn it stop trying to force social media upon me, I'm not fucking interested.

Aww little babby has no friends
i read a study recently that everyone who isn't on facebook is a psychopath
i can understand appealing to normal people since psychopaths are a pretty niche market

but if you turned 720° you would still be facing the xbox
Aww little babby has no friends
I haven't lost the art of talking face to face with people just yet, though i do feel it's a dying art some days.

yeh human interaction as we know it is being destroyed by social media
where do people get these ridiculous ideas? social media hasn't replace any form of face-to-face contact. people use facebook when they're at home doing nothing and removed from their friends. if anything it improves social interaction because people are doing it almost 100% of their waking time. i've never heard a story of someone turning down face-to-face interaction because they could do it on facebook. if anything social media improves face-to-face interaction levels because pretty much everyone has a webcam and facebook comes with video calls now
"hey wanna see a film?"
"nah lets both stream it and talk on fb instead"
^ this doesn't happen

No it's not dying i was being melodramatic for the hell of it. But literally everyone feeling the need to be connected at all times is not what I'd call a good thing at all.

how can anyone force social media on you
Really I don't care about social media EA.
I don't even have gold, I just use my xbox to play games. Chances are somebody with an xbox also has access to a computer, therefore they have access to social media sites.
And when I did bother with gold, the least you could do is stop plastering the front page with ads. I used to ignore it but now if I want to play arcade or indie games I have to sift through ads because your latest update put my games list there.
I don't like being referred to as a consumer when it comes to video games.
Ok, to clarify, even if I am a consumer, I don't like the way EA or other big corporations use it.
They use it in a way that dehumanizes me, like I'm just a thing that they want money from.
you are just a thing that they want money from
#1 feature that needs changing for the next gen console:
Not having to fucking buy Xbox Live Gold for god damn Netflix for fuck sakes.
Or bundle it in with Gold or something because I don't want to have to pay for a service in order to pay for a service, it's fucking stupid.

Remove gold all together microsoft still makes enough money
Remove gold all together microsoft still makes enough money
hahaha
"guys we're making enough money maybe we should stop making so much"
Remove gold all together microsoft still makes enough money
As good as that'd be, people are still willing to pay for Gold
(though the idea of paying to access my own fucking Internet connection still baffles me)
EA staph wat are you doing
I wish EA would get staph
but EA says this system needs to be more about its design and what it can offer consumers in addition to gaming.
Yeah or just focus on computers instead
I already wasted over a grand on this first shitbox so whatever I'm sticking with Sony from now on.
Unless they go out of business.
