• Massive Muslim inbreeding over 14,000 years may have ruined gene pool
muslims are not part of one genepool
I just said that what the guy was talking about reminded me of the European royalties, I don't know if what he says is true and if it has any evidence at all.
I just said that what the guy was talking about reminded me of the European royalties, I don't know if what he says is true and if it has any evidence at all.
well that's why i said it was completely unlike what you are talking about
Fucking what?! It can end up causing massive genetic disorders, and can end up forcing recessive, dangerous genes in the kid to become expressed leading to some really fucking dangerous shit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inbreeding#Results
Only when the people with genetic disorders are aloud to reproduce. Over time it can eliminate bad genes and keep around good genes. [editline]30th October 2010[/editline]
Natural selection works to remove individuals who acquire the above types of traits from the gene pool. Therefore, many more individuals in the first generation of inbreeding will never live to reproduce. Over time, with isolation such as a population bottleneck caused by purposeful (assortative) breeding or natural environmental stresses, the deleterious inherited traits are culled.

Only when the people with genetic disorders are aloud to reproduce. Over time it can eliminate bad genes and keep around good genes. [editline]30th October 2010[/editline]
Yeah but most of the time the starting genepool is pretty small, and any recessive genes they share are then expressed in the next generation. And even then it's only temporary, as time passes genetic drift and mutation takes over again and the full genome is capable of being expressed again and we get back to where we are now.
I pull out when fucking my cousin.
Yeah but most of the time the starting genepool is pretty small, and any recessive genes they share are then expressed in the next generation. We would get to where we are now except many bad recessive genes would be eliminated.
No we wouldn't because mutations would occur which meant that the recessive gene would come back into existence at a later date. After the genetic bottleneck genetic diversity takes off again, this means every possible gene given the time will occur and reoccur over and over and over in multiple people in the gene pool, it's a temporary fix.
Keepin' it in the family for 1400 years. Impressive in a fucked up kind of way.
I'd ask op to kill himself and stop making threads but they're just too damn funny
retardation doesn't come as a 100% impact of inbreeding, learn how genetics work
Which is why he didn't say all members of the royal family
Lol a psychologist talking about genetics. That's really all you need to know.
Lol a psychologist talking about genetics. That's really all you need to know.
Are you implying that psychology is not a science and that it's not possible to be both a psychologist and a genealogist?
Well now people have a reason not to mate inter-racially.
Are you implying that psychology is not a science and that it's not possible to be both a psychologist and a genealogist?
I'm implying that someone with a degree in Psychologist doesn't know anymore about genetics or genealogy (two different things, which you seem to be confusing) than most people with a college degree. Which is to say; not a great deal. In no way did I say that Psychology is unscientific, I'm just saying that when an expert speaks outside their specialty, they are no longer an expert. I'd say the same thing if it were a geneticist talking about psychology.
Well Arabs are known for their inbreeding, lots of them have fucked up noses. Don't think that explains violence though, I think the violence is more to do with poverty.
Hahahaha
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Welner If this is the same guy as in the OP (sounds like it is), he has no background in genetics.
Well Arabs are known for their inbreeding, lots of them have fucked up noses. Don't think that explains violence though, I think the violence is more to do with poverty.
Then why is it that there are peoples around the world who are way poorer, but less violent?
Lol a psychologist talking about genetics. That's really all you need to know.
Who is the one am I supposed to laugh at? You; a normal person like me and the entire Facepunch without any further education in psychology. Or Nicolai Sennels an educated psychatrist that have been working with troubled youth for several years? I love how just because it's a bit political incorrect Sennels has to be portrayed as an idiot.
No it's because we can't see his evidence, he could be spouting unsubstantiated bullshit for all we know. Besides his degree is in psychology, not genetics. If he had a degree in genetics this would be a lot more credible but right now it's about as credible as perpetual motion.
wwwwooooooowwwww i didn't know eugenics was the big thing in denmark now [editline]30th October 2010[/editline] fyi to facepunchers, anyone who agrees with this is a completely uneducated idiot
I'll agree the the OP's post just to annoy you and to show that you're a bigot.

If he had a degree in genetics this would be a lot more credible but right now it's about as credible as perpetual motion.
He didn't write a thesis about it, he only stated what he thought. I don't see why you can't do that. "Psychologist critical of Muslim 'inbreeding' informed expert's opinion on Khadr"
Well Arabs are known for their inbreeding, lots of them have fucked up noses. Don't think that explains violence though, I think the violence is more to do with poverty.
What's wrong with their noses?
He didn't write a thesis about it, he only stated what he thought. I don't see why you can't do that. "Psychologist critical of Muslim 'inbreeding' informed expert's opinion on Khadr"
An expert opinion, is taken from an expert IN THE RELEVANT FIELD that means in this case, that should have been a comment made by a geneticist. It's also a little known rule, an expert witness should give his opinion firmly based on evidence, this guy was just taking a jab at arabs and muslims. And I know this cause I'm studying forensics and this is one of the things we got taught at the start of the year, and that I've saw first hand in a court case.

For example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Missler

For example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Missler
Charles "Chuck" Missler is an author, evangelical Christian, and Bible teacher, and former businessman. He has a degree in engineering. That has nothing to do with genetics. This guy has a degree in psycology. That has quite a lot to do with behaivoural studies.
But nothing to do with genetics
And little to do with genetics, that's neuroscience I believe. This guy shouldn't have said a fucking word when asked for his expert opinion other than, "from my academic studies and my experience with similarly violent individuals I believe X, Y and Z" Not "I believe this all due to the muslim practice of bumping uglies with each others cousins for the past 1400 years"
There are some genetic involving in nowadays psychology anyway; when you are talking about the chance to inherit some kind of mental disease etcetera. He was trying to find a cause and I guess that was the best he could come up with. It's stupid to make his opinion "invalid" just because he doesn't have any deeper knowledge it in. I still hold to my belief that the world is too political correct to even dare to investigate further into his claim.

It's the point flying over your goddamn head. We have a psychologist blowing smoke out of his ass about genetics. And we have an engineer blowing smoke out of his about biochemistry.
