Perhaps it isn't the religion, but an inherent flaw eh?

Well, there are self-proclaimed Muslims in America who can hardly call themselves a follower of Islam because they ignore Sharia Law and other stupid shit that we or the Constitution does not tolerate. So as far as "peaceful" Muslims go, that is most likely what you are talking about. Then you have Muslims who live in the middle east who are raised in an oppressed and influential society that raises them on values we do not tolerate. Some of their beliefs are not even associated with Islam, but none the less stupid. Their culture, society, values, and beliefs have all been thrown together into a boiling pot and it's difficult to discern what stupid shit they do is tied to the religion, the culture, or law. To discriminate the culture without stepping on some uninformed asshole's toe is impossible.

Also staying ontopic, the reason why inbreeding was banned in the first place was because of birth defects. On a racial scale people will shun this article down due to radical political correctness, but there's a whole lot of truth in this matter.

Sennels's "data" is based on his time with Muslim inmates in Denmark. I'm assuming he made a half-assed link between some of his inmates having parents who were cousins, and tried to apply that to why his inmates were dysfunctional and crime oriented. He was brought in by the prosecution as an idiotic way of trying to prove that Omar Khadr was terrorist-inclined to begin with, not driven insane or to radicalism as a result of the environment he grew up in. Sennels's data is idiotic to begin with, and if you look at how he has attempted to apply the data you will see very much the same idiotic line of thought. Most people who study crime and terrorism tend to discount the biological aspect anyways, it's quite sad to see the prosecution resort to such a tactic.

It's interesting to note that Nicolai Sennels is a member of Danish People's party, the extreme right-winged, semi nazi party, known for being ridiculous and racist. Most recently they wanted to make it illegal for Arabs to watch Arabic television in Denmark.
