Should also add "They need to revive franchises more like Star Fox & F-Zero".
And Metroid.
if its not Mario/Zelda/Pokemon Nintnendo doesn't directly care about it.
Nintendo doesn't need to redefine themselves, they just need to do what they do well, more. More groundbreaking shit like Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy was. Less technically fun but regressive titles like New Super Mario Bros and Super Mario 3D land/world.
The way he's talking is making me think of stuff like Wii Music and that's a really bad sign. Nothing Nintendo has ever done or ever will do has been or will be as fun or entertaining as the video games they make. Stick to those.
But hasnt New Super Mario bros outsold Galaxy and 64?
From what I remember their "ground breaking" titles sell less than their other games. When it comes to Mario anyway.
I thought people considered 3D World close to Galaxy-quality.
Virtual boy 2, now that the technology is here :v:

It's called the 3DS.
I thought people considered 3D World close to Galaxy-quality.
But not as innovative. I enjoyed 3D world more as a Mario game but galaxy is more creative
It's called the 3DS.
But I can turn the 3D off, and it's comfortable to use.
It can't be the Virtual Boy 2 if it isn't making me want to destroy it for destroying my eyes.

Yeah, and it's in color! The virtual boy should only have one color, because too many colors is distracting
Virtual Boy was a tragic case, and I'm not just talking about sales-wise. When you read about the plans Yokoi had for it versus the product that was ultimately rushed out the door, it's a massive difference. The Virtual Boy that Yokoi envisioned was much closer to the 3DS now (or even the Oculus Rift) than the system we got, but a combination of executive meddling and the limitations of that period's tech just led to things not being meant to be at that point in time.
Fortunately, the 3DS is much closer to his envisioned goal and is a massive hit, so that hole in his legacy was finally fulfilled years after his death.
If Nintendo wasn't afraid of actually marketing the Wii U they wouldn't need to redefine themselves.
People STILL think The Wii U is an add-on. How have they not addressed this?
I'm gonna need a source on this.
It's from a quote from Iwata from the Gamecube era, the original source from 1UP.com is long gone, since it is over 7 years old, but this is what he said:
"The day we stop making consoles is the day we stop making games altogether."

cause in Japan home consoles are not as popular
wario world was developed by treasure, who have been playing with their dicks the past like 6 years and need to make something new already
Aren't they making a new Ikaruga?
This reminds me of the old Atari consoles that were refitted to be medical machines. I think the Jaguar was one.
