What country?
Sweden.
I wish I could do something like that. Alas, as 1 of only 2 tech literate kids in my school I'd get caught pretty fast. :(
People use the word "hack" too loosely It irks me
The definition has pretty much been changed by ignorant people by now.
Pepper;36874054']No it is not, that is phishing. The word hacking is thrown around far too much nowadays.
Ignorant tech-illiterates who make up most of the population changed it's meaning to a lot of them something like guessing a password or getting around easy security seems hard
.
Insane soccermom
my school's password to almost anything was the initials of the school then 1-5
When I was in elementary school if you pressed the function keys F1 through F4 it would act as a "master password". Of course, I wasn't smart enough to do anything malignant with this information at the time.
she just used a username and password from wjen she worked at the school.
Public media translation: HACKER
I give the mother a C++ for her efforts.
It's saddening that the kids/teens currently in schools today are dumber than their parents. Society's fucked if this trend continues.
Wow, where have you been the past 4,000 years?
Any kid should be as smart as their parents by around 6th or 7th grade. However, this stupidity has grown extraordinarily worse. You've got kids not watching/reading the news, kids that don't know what a thunderstorm is, etc. I could go on and on.
You either have incredibly low expectations of parents, or incredibly high expectations of children, just so you know.
When you're dealing with teenagers that are like I described, there's obviously a problem.

This just reminded me of the time in work experience (In an IT shop) and one customer didn't provide the password, but they had a password hint, it was "Wifes name" After guessing womens names, turns out it was carol For some reason, the other techs thought i was some master of computing. No i am not, it was just simple guess work.
