Schiff: There is now 'more than circumstantial evidence' of Trump-Russia collusion
brief constitutional crisis.
Define brief. This could last months if Trump tries to interfere constantly with republicans just blindly defending him until they see the writing on the wall that they are all fucked and not getting re-elected.
Nasty things are gonna happen if Trump gets impeached.
First ex-president convicted of treason charges and possibly executed because of it. What a way to make a name for yourself, your family, and buisness!
I feel like 80 years ago whoaly would have been a Stalinist
Frankly in the case of impeachment, especially in the event that the election responsible for the appointment of the impeached was manipulated, standard succession should go out the window.

I wonder if something like this would be done to all of his properties. I can imagine that striking the Trump name from everything he's ever built would really get to him.
It's impressive how you won't even consider the possibility that trump might be bad
That's because he legitimately believes it would be a good thing if Trump were guilty, because the Russian government has a "good reason" for destabilizing our country and jeapordizing our national security, and we "deserve it."
But why are they doing these things? Good there be... *gasp*... a good reason for doing these things? Could it be that our western governments are worse than Russia and have destabilized the world to a far greater extent, to the point they might actually deserve a little destabilization themselves?
Don't waste your time on this schmuck lol
I can't say with absolute certainty whether or not Trump's team colluded with Russia yet (though there is an enormous amount of circumstantial evidence), but even if I could provide incontrovertible proof that Trump and/or his campaign team were working directly with Russian intelligence services to secure political power, Whoaly wouldn't care. He would simply jump tracks from, "you can't prove it," to, "I'm sure they had a good reason."
There's no enlightenment to be had from this discussion with this user. There are no points to be won, no lessons to be learned. Whoaly has readily abandoned reality in order to suit his belief system. Rational arguments are wasted on a person who doesn't care about rationality.
What evidence do you have? As Sargon of Akkad has said, there really is no actual evidence; just what is so obviously a carefully controlled "drip drip drip" of vacuous, nonspecific information that only gives the appearance of evidence to those who wish to see it.
Firstly, fucking Sargon of Akkad? I don't think I've ever seen anybody destroy their credibility as fast in a first line then that. How does Sargon of Akkad, somebody who runs a wank youtube channel where he talks about "TRIGGERED FEMINISTS," have this extensive insider information that allows him to make such a bold assessment?
This will all culminate in a massive, carefully fabricated "revelation" from the intelligence community which will supposedly "show" that Trump committed treason. This revelation will be complete BS but any voices pointing that out will be sidelined, while the MSM will coordinate with the intelligence community to make the coup seem legitimate to the people. Not hard to see what's happening here.
So you've already decided on whether anybody is actually guilty or not? I didn't know you could see the future mate.
This will culminate with Trump's successor accusing Russia of committing an act of war by interfering with the election, which will then lead to the US declaring war in turn... then we all die. But at least Trump won't be President any more.
...Why?
Seriously, why would they depose Trump to declare war on Russia? What benefit does that provide anybody?
It's impressive how you won't even consider the possibility that trump might be bad
Or that Russia might be bad
Get that shit gibbon off his shit branch!
In the case of impeachment, the VP takes over to serve the remainder of the term. After that it follows the line of presidential succession. If, by some incredible turn of events, the entire administration is ousted quickly--including the Cabinet, as you propose--we would most likely see Paul Ryan assume the presidency after a brief constitutional crisis. Could change the order of succession if it causes a big enough stir.
That possibility, however, is assuming a myriad of unlikely events.
[editline]23rd March 2017[/editline]
From my perspective, there is virtually no situation in which we get a Democratic president for this term--barring a full redo of the election, of course. Is that what you were getting at?
Yeah, it's what to me would make the most sense. It's impossible that it's only Trump that is the one following Russian orders.
First ex-president convicted of treason charges and possibly executed because of it. What a way to make a name for yourself, your family, and buisness!
It's gonna be the best trial, the greatest trial ever. We're gonna go in there and we're gonna WIN against those corrupt liberal judges! It's gonna be so great, so great.
The US President is under investigation for collaborating with Russian interference in the US federal elections and risks impeachment for up to high treason. Smile, everyone, you're witnessing something that is going into the history books, one way or another.
...Why?
Seriously, why would they depose Trump to declare war on Russia? What benefit does that provide anybody?
I think the "Democrats will start WW3!!" thing all stems from speculation about the Syria no-fly zone and Clinton's poorly phrased comments about an escalating response to Russian cyber warfare. Then you add a whole bunch of crazed conspiracy theories and fearmongering from /pol/.
I guess my major proof is the statements of Julian Assange. A truly principled man who has ruined his own life to do what he honestly believed was the right thing. If he says he was not induced to hack the Podesta emails by the Russians then I take his word over that of Comey or this Schiff fellow any day of the week.
This is dumb; and not because Julian Assange is bad as many people seem to think lately. First of all, nobody thinks Wikileaks hacked the emails. Secondly, Assange is the fucking founder of a whistleblower organization, you really think he's going to say anything true about his actual sources? His organization literally depends on him keeping his sources anonymous. If someone asks him if X gave him the info, he as 1 single choice of a response; "No, X did not give me the info". Thirdly, that whole argument is about Julian Assange denying that Russia gave him the leaks, which is not what anyone else was talking about in relation to the DNC hacking: the claim is that Russia did the hacking. The question of who leaked the information from the hack is irrelevant, and very possibly not someone obviously connected to Russia. You need a sophisticated team of hackers to make and use the programs that were used in the hacking, but handing over the leaks to Assange can be done by anyone.

Considering how many ties there are within his team and with him personally, I don't think collusion is that much of a stretch of the imagination, and to say there's 'no actual evidence' when it's demonstrably true that individuals like Manafort and Tillerson have a long history with the Kremlin, and in Tillerson's case Putin himself strikes me as you doing exactly what you accuse others of, seeing what you want to see
I've noticed you like to bring up Clinton a lot, so I think it's fair enough for me to point out that people fucking crucified Clinton for vastly less than what we're seeing in the Trump team. A private email server and some closed door rallies for the financial elite were apparently enough to make her the antichrist, but apparently being openly buddy buddy with that same financial elite to the point of giving them high ranking government jobs and using the RNC's private email server is all just find and dandy
But I don't really think you give a shit about all that. You've had it explained to you before how Trump is anything but what you think he is and you just dismissed it all out of hand and bailed out of the thread. Again
Oh fuck I forgot Whoaly was the one that linked to gradeAunderA for his argument.

B-but pizza gate!
B-but pizza gate!
I had actually completely forgotten about that whole debacle and probably should have used it as an example of how far people were willing to hound Clinton over miniscule threads of
vacuous, nonspecific information that only gives the appearance of evidence to those who wish to see it.

Case for the kangaroo court coming along nicely, I see.
Fucking wonderful. You're not able to defend your candidate anymore, so instead you attack the courts. "The courts must be kangaroo courts if Trump has any chance of being put in them!" Because no legitimate court would ever dare try Trump, right Whoaly?
Is trump going to get hanged and made an example of? Because I'd rather see him humiliated and lose everything then forgotten about in a federal prison
Is trump going to get hanged and made an example of? Because I'd rather see him humiliated and lose everything then forgotten about in a federal prison
If he is convicted, it will probably be life in prison instead of the forced easy way out.
Is trump going to get hanged and made an example of? Because I'd rather see him humiliated and lose everything then forgotten about in a federal prison
He won't be put in a regular prison. It will be one of those fancy prisons for the rich and famous.

He'll still be a failure and an embarrassment, and nothing matters more to him than that. The utter realization that his entire life built up to the world finally knowing how worthless this narcissistic prick is. Hope he rots in prison for his treason and the damage he's done to our country.

Woah, deja vu.
