Of course it deserves a movie. Angry Birds is perhaps today's definitive Neo-luddite manifesto. A saga wherein the birds, peaceful and prosperous in their agrarian utopia, are forced to contend with the greedy piggies, who, never content with their decadent industrialized lifestyle, covetously plunder the very future generation from their neighbors. With naught but the strength and cunning nature gave them, the birds reduce the prideful piggy creations to rubble, revealing thier folly.

This seems more promising than Tetris, since at least the birds of the source material have facial expressions which could be extrapolated into personalities.

Angry birds creator is a genius. Make something you hardly care about or even really matters, it blows up, you dont really care so you just let anyone do whatever as long as they give you money.
