Then plug a gamepad into your PC. Simple as that.
that is not even remotely the same thing lol

PC gamers: Do you hate money?
I honestly don't know why anyone cares about this game regardless of platform. Like for the longest time I thought Titanfall, Destiny, and Warframe were the exact same game or expansion pack or something.

none of those games really share much of anything in common
I think with this, if Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo want to keep up, they need to start taking handhelds more seriously.
Does this mean we can get prioritized by developers and publishers so we get releases at the same time as consoles?
I have a 360 because I like to play games while lying on a couch, consoles are for people who just want to do just that
Yes you can do the same with PC's but games built for consoles are built for controllers only, on PC where some games have gamepad support I always notice a few fuck ups where you have to use a KB+M to switch a few options or what not
Still it's good news
Honestly I'd like to see PC on top but for some types of games such as RPGs, I prefer playing at my living room on my PS3 because fuck hauling out and hooking up my PC thats really heavy.
Welcome to have more fun game waiting for you http://www.fifa14cup.com

i'm the opposite, i actually kinda dislike RPGs on consoles after playing several on the PC, IMO the only kinds of games that are truly "better" with a joystick are racing games, fighting games, sports games and platformers.
Interesting read, although I can't really say I'm too surprised about it.

Those too. I'm mostly referring to JRPGs and Turn-based RPGs which just work better with a controller, along with Witcher 2 as far as combats concerned. Shit like deus ex I'll play on PC.
Haven't turned on my xbox 360 in 9 months. It has cups sitting on top of it
Gaming console downgraded to status of table coaster
Wait, wait, wait. This was NEW news?
GTAV and RDR are the only reason my Xbox isn't in the bin
Even then I don't play them that much anymore
I used to play on Xbox quite a lot of the time when my computer wasn't able to play games at a steady rate, back in 2008-2009, but I started to save up some money and managed to get an all-new computer. Now I spend most of my time when it comes to games on PC.

Man I'd love to play RDR for once but I don't have an xbox and I don't want to put money on that.

How? Get yourself a wired/wireless compatible Xbox 360 controller, an hdmi cable for your rig and Steam Big Picture so you can experience all the limitations of console gaming on your PC.
There's been a ban on consoles for years in China, and they have a huge PC gaming community. So the entire Chinese gaming population wasn't enough to outweigh the console gaming community until just now. That says something about just how big console gaming actually is.
One of the best things about PC gaming is that every PC is super backwards compatible. Pretty much all games work in some form or another forever.
I mean, World of Warcraft alone is a beast to reckon with. ~$15/month @ 10 million active subscribers comes out to $1.8 Billion dollars. That basically matches GTAV sales, which is by far the most popular game released last year; coming from a game that was released 10 years ago.
that is not even remotely the same thing lol
you're right
you get to play console games like a console with better graphics with controller and a television screen
And considering the old generation is shit and new generation can't even run games properly yet, it's actually currently way better to do it on PC.
its like its the same exact thing... just... different.

Also kids and casual gamers usually don't have high end PCs and even if they do, a lot of their friends do not. So if you want to game with friends it's easier to play on a console together, especially when having friends over, it's just easier despite the fact that LAN parties are infinitely more fun.

If they add a video editor again i'll be a happy man

You don't need a high end PC for gaming. Most Home PCs can run all the games on market.

Except that nowadays most console games don't seem to support split-screen, so the developers expect you and 3 friends to bring 4 of the same console and 4 separate screens to play together anyways.
May as well just pony up and get a mid-range PC.

A dozen or so times over, yes.
The video editor kept me tooling around in GTA IV for several months after the story and modding community grew tired. Simply being able to play back what happened from any angle and any speed and edit it together provided more entertainment than I even expected in the base game.
Now we can show this to the people who signed the petition for GTAV not being on PC for "They will just pirate the game"
