I dunno. Just feels like a wild goose chase that they painted as an organized investigation. I seriously doubt any significant thing will come out of this hearing, or if anything does, we won’t see it for another year or more. Again, people come up and say how good the investigation and Mueller are, but never seem to address my point that nobody is searching for new candidates or anything along those lines. Going to be pretty sad when this investigation (inevitably) leads nowhere and people freak out because they had no plan b [editline]1st December 2017[/editline] The reason I say it’s notgoing anywhere was, if it’s all so easy and up front as everyone is making it out to be, and all these “according tos” and “familiar withs” are right then...where are the charges? Why wait? If it’s such a “bombshell” then why has nothing happened for months?
When it's the pres you're taking down, you need to make it so airtight that if his party doesn't impeach him, he'll take the entire party down with him.
So, naturally the top story on Fox is some Hillary Clinton controversy to push the Flynn news off screen on mobile. [t]https://i.imgur.com/Dn3FjLT.png[/t]
Glad Mueller did this right at the end of No Nut November, what a hero.
When it's the pres you're taking down, you need to make it so airtight that if his party doesn't impeach him, he'll take the entire party down with him.
Also there's a lot happening behind the curtain the public cant see to protect the investigation. Like other than mueller idk any other agents name working on it to say the least. They have thousands of pages, hella witnesses, and testimony and they have to process and triple quadruple check it. It takes time because if you go after the president on paper you need to do it perfectly.
Can’t help but feel that people are shoving all of their eggs into a Dixie cup here... Yeah he may have a plea deal but for all we know it could have been stuff on Manafort or even something unrelated to the main investigation. People are putting wayyyy too much stock into Mueller imo rather than trying to seek out worthwhile candidates
Do you understand how plea deals work? To receive a deal, you must offer up sufficiently damning testimony, in a statement called a "proffer," before they will offer you a deal. Furthermore, they aren't going to offer a deal at all unless the information you are presenting helps lead to the conviction of a more important target in the chain of command than yourself, or else sweeps many other equal or lower level people into your conviction pile so that they, too, could be flipped. Basically, this deal would not have been made if all Flynn had to offer was more evidence on Flynn, evidence on some unrelated third party, or evidence on some schmuck lower in the food chain. The only people in the chain of command that Flynn could have offered up information on to get this juicy of a plea deal is Donald Trump, Mike Pence, or at least several key member's on a similar level of importance as Flynn himself was, of which the list of potential targets is pretty small.
YO!
Point in fucking fact. God damn, this is it boys.
YO!
wild goose chase intensifies
This kind of resignation to "nothing will happen" is the reason they get away with shit. Im so sick of seeing this hopelessness, and it spreads like a virus.
It’s not hopelessness, it’s realism. Nothing will happen because it simply won’t. I’m not saying give up and stop fighting, but instead of putting blinders on and chasing after a few supposed leads confirmed by according to those familiar with it, why not look for a better candidate? Why not start bombarding local dems to look for new and better legislation? Why not support Bernie-esque people and push for a general acceptance amongst democrats? Expecting this to be the one and only thing that stops trump is what’s hopeless, since that means you have no faith in anyone else

"Supposed" leads is comparing a nuke to a firework in this case...
YO!
lol okay I wasn't expecting that.
That ABC report is the definition of "huge if true"

This is the greatest betrayal of our country, our people, and our values in the entirety of American history. Benedict Arnold would blush at the charges levied against Trump -- charges which, at this point, are all but confirmed to be absolutely, 100%, verifiably true. Trump aided and abetted an attack against our nation by a hostile foreign power intended to undermine our national security, our social and financial stability, and our electoral integrity in direct exchange for illegal attacks and leaks against his political opposition. Trump committed the greatest of treason this country has ever seen. Trying to pretend that this is just crybaby Dems whining about losing the election is sickening.
When did I say that dems were whining or sore losers, what? [editline]1st December 2017[/editline] Honestly where did you even get that from
When did I say that dems were whining or sore losers, what? Im ready for all the "Russia is our frieeenddddd what's the big deal?"
Im ready for all the "Russia is our frieeenddddd what's the big deal?"
Hasn't T_D been doing that for a few months now?
Flynn testifying that he was ordered to contact the Russian government by Donald Trump himself completely unravels any and all arguments that this is a "wild goose chase." It also completely unravels every statement of ignorance, uninvolvement, and innocence made by Trump and his cronies. Flynn's testimony here is a smoking gun held firmly in the president's hand.
Hasn't T_D been doing that for a few months now?
The deflection and trying to change the story and history wilk intensify the deeper Mueller penetrates trump
If I'm misunderstanding you, then I apologize, but your insistence that we drop the investigation and instead focus on finding "better candidates" leaves few other explanations as to your intent.
Why must you always think that I have some ulterior motive? Want to know my intent? Fine. I think this investigation is a load of hokey and I’m really scared that people are putting way too much faith in this, and have no fallbacks amongst the Democratic Party other than saying “I’m not Trump look at me!”. If this investigation falls through and nothing significant happens, the Republicans will absolutely eviscerate the Democrats for years to come .

Flynn has pled guilty. Mueller has him https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/michael-flynn-charged-with-making-false-statement-to-the-fbi/2017/12/01/e03a6c48-d6a2-11e7-9461-ba77d604373d_story.html
The Dems aren't pulling "We're not them" politics as far as I can tell, their decisions are questionable but the investigation and the democratic party are two separate entities.
Take some time to look at governor candidate ads. The one for Illinois is “Donald trump is a racist bigot and I will fight that “ and then proceeds to not even use his name, other than just “JB”. Y’know, Illinois, one of the most indebted and crime ridden states? Instead the democrats feel its best they run a “yeah but I’m not that guy” campaign. Again.
YO!
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for impeachment.

I'm sorry, but there's no way other way to say it. If the mountains of evidence built up before today weren't enough to dispel any notion that this investigation isn't valid, then Flynn taking a plea deal in exchange for testimony that Donald Trump, as a presidential candidate, ordered him to establish contact with the Russian government should. If it doesn't, then you simply don't want to see the truth, and you're not even worth humoring.

Personally, I'm not getting excited at any of this until Trump is out of office and in handcuffs. Not just one or the other. Both. I see it maybe heading that way, but until it actually happens I am not going to pop the champagne
