The news better carry this shit. Trump's one of those dumb criminals - the ones who only survive as long as they have when they surround themselves with semi-competent people. But since he's a narcissist and megalomaniac, he takes orders from nobody, and advice only when he wants it. So to bring him down, you don't really need to find hard evidence against him. You just need to prod him and poke him just right, and since he's got the self-control of a spoiled four-year-old, he'll incriminate himself.
Btw, that's in reply to this, which is uh...yeah...
Trump is doing ∞-dimensional physics right here: he's finding the optimal path to impeachment. What a genius.
Okay this is a legitimate question because the word "obstruction" is being flung all over the place and some of it feels like its not meeting the definition. By that tweet, and that tweet alone, people are calling it "proof" of "obstruction". In what way is it? Serious question because other people I've asked can't give me a straight answer.

We already know that after Flynn was fired, Trump kept pushing then-FBI-Director Comey to drop the investigation into Flynn, and demanded loyalty from Comey. Hence, obstruction of justice. Last I checked, a confession from a perp is considered admissible evidence in a court of law, as long as the admission is not given under duress. Clear enough yet? Countless people have been convicted and spent years in prison for far less. Trump has just admitted he fired Flynn for lying to the FBI and he previously admitted that he directly asked Comey to drop the FBI investigation on Flynn. That's obstruction of justice straight from the orange's mouth.

I was feeling way less hopeful when I woke up this morning about Donald Trump being removed from office due to his Tweets than I am right now. Holy shit Donny, you are a genius at Tweeting incredibly self-incriminating and evidence-worthy shit. What dimension are you operating in that you believed that Tweet was in your best interest? :excited:
uhm.. Except there was no Columbo and it's just Trump fucking himself up. Hope this finally confirms he's guilty, since he just admitted it himself.
I wouldn't get your hopes up, guys. Remember this is the same buffoon that admitted to firing Comey "because of the Rusher [sic] thing" on a television interview and faced no repercussions as of yet. On a tangential note: This is... interesting? Not sure if it relates directly to this Flynn story but I don't think a teaser of a future development in the Mueller investigation deserves its own thread. EDIT: Here is the story, it seems:
You might say Trump is like an electron or photon in superposition.
Fucking brilliant. This deserves far more stars. He is American, so I would argue that he is more likely a positron, permanently asserting success and being cancelled out by the negative electron forces in his brain. He is like Thanos, his weakness being that he doesn't want to win.
The only reason Trump hasn't already been impeached is because Republicans are defending him.

Is there a way to contact our congressmen and pressure them into introducing Articles of Impeachment and inform them of what this Tweet means? Is there any way that us American citizens can put forward the impeachment process via contacting our representatives?

(Bonus brownie points for also scoring a SCOTUS seat)
Is there a way to contact our congressmen and pressure them into introducing Articles of Impeachment and inform them of what this Tweet means?
I cant believe I just read this sentance and it made perfect sense in the context of political discourse
I cant believe I just read this sentance and it made perfect sense in the context of political discourse
I never thought the future would go this way, either. The President of the United States of America, the leader of the "free world", posting on his Twitter from his cellphone - that he isn't even supposed to be using - incredibly damning and self-incriminating statements regarding the very real and serious offense that is Obstruction of Justice. We have entered the SNL timeline, where satire morphs into reality, where The Onion is the most factual news outlet, and where a stereotypical organized crime boss is the President of America.
little did we know that as well as looking like the villain in a movie where the hero is a dog, he would also expose himself like the villain in a movie where the hero is a dog
Btw, that's in reply to this, which is uh...yeah...
oh my god. He actually did it
Of course he needs to be held accountable to the things he says, but honestly, I feel that Trump is stupid enough that it's plausible that he just intended to mention more than one bad thing about Flynn. Maybe he simply forgot that lying to the FBI didn't get revealed until later. If that is the case, I find it even more likely that he would never stop to think far enough to realize the implications of it happening earlier. In any case, whatever he intended to say, and whatever he actually knew at the time, his supporters will find it easy to explain this away with "what he really meant was...".

International relations are solved overnight, basketball becomes America's #1 sport, and the dog bone industry booms. and and AND The president will no longer spout incriminating evidence, international fiascos, or stupid bullshit on twitter. Air Bud is legitimately a better president than Trump.
Referring to the National Security Advisor as the NSA is really throwing me for a loop.
I wonder what's going through Mueller's brain. Was he counting or this, or is he feeling like the kid who studies for an entire day for a school test only to discover the professor didn't come to school the day after?

And hopefully we won't find that the graders give him an F because they think 2+2 = 22, and all of the circled answers are merely tricks.

Wow. I knew Trump was dumb, but holy good fucking god.
The ABC news reporter who did the Flynn report is now suspended for 4 weeks w/o pay Edit: I feel that it is a just punishment. I hope that in the future that he can put out reports that are nothing but the truth.
