What's the etymology of "beatify"? It sounds like something a badass wrestler would do, and the wikipedia article makes it sound like JP2 was a fucking champ. Just for all the confused people: Beautification is the stage prior to becoming a saint in the Church. If I remember correctly, another miracle has to be validated to become a saint. Interesting note: Pope John Paul is going to be the third Pope in history to be named 'the Great'. The last two were a [i]long[/i] time ago, Pope St. Gregory the Great and Pope St. Leo. They both lived before 700, so this is a very momentous occasion for us. And if you're atheist and you post here to troll, go away.

If he was a real Saint then Jesus would have taken his body up to Heaven to get saved. I wonder if he gets to have sex in Heaven? It sucks for Priests that Jesus will not let they have sex or masturbate.
