Guys, just to get this straight: McDonald's is shit, in every country. It's fast-food, it's bad. You can't even call it food imo. McDonald's in Italy tastes the same as in the US, i've tried both. The difference is that the rest of the food in italy, even other italian fastfood bars/restaurant, is so much better that you can't even compare them. Everybody knows that Italian food is better than everything else in the world.

Guys, McDonald's food isn't made by a big factory in india and then shipped all around the world, each place has it's own management, they all vary a lot in quality. So there's no "McDonald's tastes like cardboard" or "the meat is made out of crushed babies" since you can't judge the whole brand by eating on a single place. Same goes for any other large fast food chain.

The notion that Italian food is the best in the world regardless of restaurant, or region, or whatever else is ridiculous in and of itself but you are certainly in no position to decide what is and is not food.

Of course McDonnalds isn't top-notch food, it's fast-food for crying out loud. That doesn't mean that it can't taste good (enough). It's easy, cheap food for when you don't want to cook/just want a snack. They're not meant to be a 5-star restaurant nor do they claim to be.

I find that overseas McDonald's are much tastier than American. It's like more effort and care is put into the food (that is ultimately terrible for you). Japanese McDonald's is super freaking tasty.

I went to paris once and McDonalds there was horrible. They didn't even have chicken legend meals.
