What do you mean "because of other people"?
Steam doesn't have echo cancellation, I think. Steam voice chat still has to catchup with other voip software.

Oh well, no more voice chat, it was already laggy as hell for me anyway.
Ill just stick to talking in server till my internet isn't apparently worse than %99 percent of Australia according to speedtest.net
