That's because the new website has only Trump content, just like Obama's only had Obama content. Obama's website was moved to obamawhitehouse.gov.
Like I said:
I think it's more confirming that he doesn't give a fuck about it.
Isn't it super concerning when he doesn't give a fuck about Climate Change or the rights of a group of Americans?
The site is currently being redeveloped for his policies, it's not like people should expect anything to come up right as he becomes president.
The intern who transliterates and types this shit up is gonna get his ass shitcanned for not having stuff written up beforehand though.
[T]http://i.imgur.com/nVqw2SBh.jpg[/T] Maybe the last pic I'll post for a little while, including my finger b/c I'm an idiot. Some of the local force overseeing the protest/March. These sorts of peaceful protests aren't what the media will be showing today unfortunately...
Read my posts. Please. I am constantly agreeing with you that communism is fucking retarded. My point was not about how the Soviet Union wasn't "true communist" and how it could've been OK if it was, it's about how the Soviet Union was just a faux-communist totalitarian state. Please understand.
I know. I'm arguing against other points of view other than your own.
Mods if you haven't already, please report KillRay to the police. We don't need cop hurting, rioting criminals among our posters. [sp]Closet anti-semites too, but hey Starpluck made mod so idk[/sp]
Check Killray's event log He's a shitposter Stop falling for it
I know. I'm arguing against other points of view other than your own.
Then why quote and refer to me directly in your arguments, then?
kinda silly that a system designed for human beings doesn't take human behavior into account
We need AI's in control. Skynet 2020.
Then why quote and refer to me directly in your arguments, then?
Just to build off your points. I'm sorry if I appeared aggressive earlier.
Just to build off your points. I'm sorry if I appeared aggressive earlier.
It's cool. Things are popping and fucking locking in this thread, so it's understandable.
Check Killray's event log He's a shitposter Stop falling for it
Hey, if it improves his behavior maybe it will help. Either way posting about assualting police officers with rocks during a actual riot is a good way to get visited by a friendly neighborhood squad car
Simple fact is allot of changes need to be made globally in governments and how we do stuff, We cant just implement a basic income everywhere with how the world works currently shit would just collapse over night. Communism anit the answer, Facism is not the answer but if we allow our self's to have the right people and a little bit of each ideology maybe just maybe we can get a system that will be stable again like democracy was in the past.
Poe's Law.
I loved Hitler's speech about throwing rocks at police officers
Like I said:
It was never a topic on his campaign trail and never in any of his policies, he never focused on it, so it's not on the website. It could be argued that he thinks Obama did enough with regards to advancing LGBT rights. You can theorize what you want I guess but it doesn't confirm anything.
I loved Hitler's speech about throwing rocks at police officers
That's Goodwins Law you goof, Poe's Law is:
an Internet adage that states that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it is impossible to create a parody of extreme views so obviously exaggerated that it cannot be mistaken by some readers or viewers as a sincere expression of the parodied views.
Because of the two party system and the "them vs us mentality" people will never agree on the right person. The "right" person for one party is the "wrong" person for another. Mostly because "X is a democrat/republican I have to hate every policy they make because they are not a republican/democrat even though it could be beneficial to the american people"
For too long, we’ve been held back by burdensome regulations on our energy industry. President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule. Lifting these restrictions will greatly help American workers, increasing wages by more than $30 billion over the next 7 years. Sound energy policy begins with the recognition that we have vast untapped domestic energy reserves right here in America. The Trump Administration will embrace the shale oil and gas revolution to bring jobs and prosperity to millions of Americans. We must take advantage of the estimated $50 trillion in untapped shale, oil, and natural gas reserves, especially those on federal lands that the American people own. We will use the revenues from energy production to rebuild our roads, schools, bridges and public infrastructure. Less expensive energy will be a big boost to American agriculture, as well.
Ugh.. this is just sad to see. That means they'll be potentially targeting our national parks as sources of oil/gas right? :(
lmao these cops on bicycles are real threatening
What? The fuck are you doing.
lmao these cops on bicycles are real threatening
They're not supposed to be?
Burning buildings, riots, and people overpowering tanks seems worse than an orange skinned gold haired frog being sworn in peacefully, yeah.
Thinking longer term though, the guy's policy ideals would leave 24 million people without insurance. in the US right now, 30 000 people die a year because they don't have access to healthcare, and doubling the number of uninsured people would double that. His economic policies, while heaven for companies, are awful for working class people and the GDP of the US, which basically just means ending up in a weaker position on the global market. His environmental policies are the exact opposite of what we need right now to even have a hope of stopping climate change, which is during our lifetimes already going to be a massive geopolitical nightmare and potential extinction event. His foreign policy (essentially an area governed with little balance of powers by the president's face alone) rests under a Damocles' sword in the shape of an angry tweet at someone who likewise can't take it. This is a man who in a 1 hour briefing asked three times why the US can't actually use nukes in open conflict. This is a man who, without any relevant political expertise, said that he has a surefire way of beating ISIS that all the top military strategists of the US couldn't somehow think up. This is a man who before being inaugurated supported and advocated and PROMISED he would commit war crimes (Torture, deliberately attacking innocents) under current Geneva conventions, the political impact of which would INCREASE terrorist attacks on US soil. His ideas of social equality are maybe 50 years in the past, and if he gets his way (He's said he wants more racial profiling, for example, which statistics show doesn't work) then we'll go back 50 years in racial equality, not to mention LGBT rights. His proposed wall which is not only an ineffective method at stopping illegal immigration or drugs coming across the border, is one of the most expensive useless codpiece structures ever proposed. This is a man who wants to defund planned parenthood and ban abortions, dismantle the department of education, periodically check mosques, is against gay marriage as well as same sex benefits despite some of his more liberal sayings on the subject. This is a man who genuinely considered defaulting on US debt to get a clean slate. I'm not gonna say anything illegal, obviously, but this is the single worst president when it comes to policy that the US has ever had. His outspoken policies have the very likely potential of causing more harm to the US and the world than an actual bloody, drawn out civil war.
Because respectable, peaceful cooperation can and does work?
No it doesn't, it inevitably leads to one side overpowering the other and nothing getting done. Do you actually believe there's going to be any compromise with people like Mike Pence who think that gay conversion therapy deserves federal funding and the LGBT community doesn't deserve any legal protections? What about Scott Pruitt who basically walked into DC with the fossil fuel industry's cock deep down his throat and has no intention of ever supporting necessary climate change policy? How much do you think that Rex Tillerson is going to consider your opinions as a former-Exxon CEO and now as Secretary of State? You really think Trump is going to listen to you either lol? Again, this rhetoric about "respect, responsibility, cooperation" sounds nice, but it's just empty bullshit. It doesn't mean anything here, and it needs to stop so we can actually, you know, start talking and figuring out how we're going to combat the reality of how things are now.
Do you think rioting will actually make anything better? Throwing bricks through Starbucks windows will help anything?
Yeah actually, it's very useful because it sends a pretty fucking crystal clear message that a significant portion of the people are pissed, and you're going to have to start paying attention to them unless you want things to get even more out of hand at your expense and the expense of others. Good thing that rioting isn't a huge issue here and it's only been a few isolated incidents. The vast majority of protestors have been peaceful, which is also useful for sending a message. So long as the protestors are not obstructed and not harassed by the police, then there's no need for mass violence.
And there are ways to go about combatting this without doing dumb shit that may or may not be illegal, senseless, or impractical at actually getting things done.
It can be done either way. Peacefully is preferable. But the fact that you think there's actually going to be the possibility of negotiation shows you don't know much about what's going on. Again, it's a fun notion to entertain, but we're talking about an administration of wannabe tough guys and political hardliners with a clear agenda. You're not going to convince somebody like Mike Pence to care about the LGBT community or Scott Pruitt to care about the environment/climate change and to stop being such a fucking patsy for the fossil fuel industry. But by all means, try. That way when it fails, people like you can learn the hard way that it was always pointless to expect them to be reasonable and respectful.
What are you implying?
Should be pretty obvious: "we need unity" is cheap and meaningless rhetoric, we've got a lot at risk in this country now with this administration in office and with Congress stacked with so many Republicans, and we're going to have to oppose them tooth and nail.
lmao these cops on bicycles are real threatening
Tasers on a holster with what appears to be extra taser shots on the front pouches. Yes I would say he's not threatening.
lmao these cops on bicycles are real threatening
Cops shouldn't be threatening to peaceful protestors
lmao these cops on bicycles are real threatening
Were not very confrontational here in Austin, there are some motorcycles and stuff but typically our protests don't really require any sort of force from law enforcement
