This is all hilarious, the demonstrations and all. The Democrats of today are the Republicans of 2009 when Obama was first inaugurated. The anti-fascists becomes the fascists. Such self-righteous hypocrisy.
What?
You should look up what facism is.
So should all the ones demonstrating what they say is an illegitimate election and their now fascist president.
Wait for the rinse and repeat in 2020/2024. Every president from now on will either be a communist or a fascist, depending on your position. Bonus points if they're an ethnicity that's not white/christian.
I will be waiting with my bowl of popcorn.
I reallt doubt it will happen if someone gets shot but If donald trump or mike pence gets assassinated I will drink my own piss. However I wont be surprised if there is at least an attempt. :toxx: me fuckers
yeah sure, you're just going to eat a piss shaped cake
You should look up what facism is.
You should look up Erdogan instead for a better modern example.

I think what LordM was trying to say is when one sides guy wins, the other side is all butthurt, like the republicans in 2009. The stuff the democrats said about the republican protesters mirrors what the republicans are saying about the democratic protesters now. Ergo, the roles essentially reversed. Now we have a bunch of smug conservatives and a bunch of butthurt liberals.
You should look up Erdogan instead for a better modern example.
you mean the guy who has control over his country's government? that guy? so probably not the guys who decisively lost every election and are now minorities in every branch of government. yeah probably not those guys

Oh god, Jackie Evancho is going to sing the national anthem. She's too young to be taken from us

He's grossly oversimplifying the situation.
It's obvious what he's trying to say but it's dumb because there are FAR more legitimate reasons to protest Trump than Obama. He's grossly oversimplifying the situation.
You realize a conservative mindset would have you saying the exact opposite? This is why we have sports team politics now. You're either the good guy or the bad guy.
You realize a conservative mindset would have you saying the exact opposite? This is why we have sports team politics now. You're either the good guy or the bad guy.
Donald Trump is an objectively bad person to have as president. This comparison doesn't work. I wouldn't have protested anyone of the Republicans from the primaries. I might not have been delighted, but I would've lived. Trump is a special case and doesn't belong in any sort of office.
You realize a conservative mindset would have you saying the exact opposite? This is why we have sports team politics now. You're either the good guy or the bad guy.
at least our politics arent tied to actual sports teams like in the Byzantine Empire we progressed a bit
Seems like we have a winner! Not everyone can read between the lines.
Everyone got this truly subtle message, the laughable exageration and missappropriation of the words is what we are discussing. Just in case you don't get it.
You realize a conservative mindset would have you saying the exact opposite? This is why we have sports team politics now. You're either the good guy or the bad guy.
I've never personally been one for sports team politics considering how much harm it's done in my country, and I thought maybe that he would actually prove to be a decent President once he won. I wanted to give him a chance at first, but all the bad decisions he's already done, which I might add were before he became president, never mind what might happen after this, put paid to any hopes of that happening. The objective fact is that people were so desperate for any sort of "change" they decided a conman would be better, though this is up in the air now considering that Clinton's choices for secretary positions were apparently just as bad in their own ways. The fact remains that he's still, no matter how objectively you look at it, a buffoon who exploited the opportunity he got better than Clinton, who had all the cards, did. And that's why he won the election, proceeding to implement some of his shitty policies, and backpedal on others.

It's literally the same shit but reversed. I don't think Trump is fit for office, I didn't even vote for the guy. But everyone just needs to calm down and realize it's probably nto going to be the end of the world. The best way to avoid the end of the world is to work with the guy. He's all of our president and we should want desperately for him to succeed and be a good president. And the people that disagree with him should be up front trying to help him succeed. That's how politics should work.

I fucking love that guy, especially his description of Hillary Clinton. Skip to 6:56.
You realize a conservative mindset would have you saying the exact opposite? This is why we have sports team politics now. You're either the good guy or the bad guy.
Except that's not the case at all since Trump ad his cronies are literally the bad guys, your relativism of that doesn't help. We criticized Obama before, gitmo, drones, taxes. We criticized Hillary, god knows there is enough to criticize. Saying Trump and his team are bad does not include unlimited praise of everyone in the "other team". Thinking that or blaming everyone (as in "we have") is easy to do but it's a gross generalization and not very productive.
You realize a conservative mindset would have you saying the exact opposite? This is why we have sports team politics now. I'd just rather not take the chance at all.

You are exagerating because it's easier to argue against an exageration instead of an abstract and very compicated situation. In additio to that, your last paragraph is also a very empty advice. "trying to help him succeed" is an empty shell of a sentence that does nothing but sound good as long as you don't say what the scuccess lies in and that is EXACTLY what people are arguing about.
