I don’t see why the refugee boat being illegal in the first place should make it okay for a far-right hate group to detain them. Also, white supremacy is the only thing that brought Southern to the Mediterranean to begin with. Nah, an even bigger problem is now that some people are afraid or just avoid to call white supremacists out, which in turn makes them become mainstream. That should never have been happening in the first place, and the supposed "classical liberals and libertarians" as you call them are part of the reason why it's happening. It has been known for ages that the goal of the far right is to become more mainstream and lose some of the associated image (which is why they now use such euphemisms like "peaceful ethnic cleansing").
