Ok, I'm all for different opinions etc. but the whole British Empire thing is downright stupid. As someone currently studying the British Empire, even 1% of its history tells us that we should be thankful it's gone. An oppressive and ignominious economic mishap moulded by right-wing nationalist politicians to be more superficially liberal to appeal to the US, gee I can't wait to bring that back.
