Religious laws are just "Atheistic" laws from a very long time ago, written down in "holy books".

Whether you believe in the particular religion or not, These laws represent the morality of a society far less developed, and often far more barbaric, than our own.

They are an objectively worse set of morals to base laws on in a modern society.

Okay but abortion doesn't exist in a vacuum even with your insistence it does.

You're against abortion. Are you for a comprehensive sex ed program that teaches young people practical sexual knowledge to help them avoid risks? Do you support a program that creates a process for an ease of distribution of contraceptives? Or do you support an abstinence only program? Or a program that doesn't teach practical knowledge but imparts moralistic perogatives?

These are important questions in context, and in regards to, abortion. You cannot insist otherwise. They're all tied in a web. Your idea is abortion is wrong, and should not be performed by anyone. I am against this for practical reasons as I would like a method that helps to minimize the actual usage of the abortion process(through education, and contraception), but allow for it to be used should it be required early enough in the pregnancy. Adoption is not a great excuse for disallowing abortions, the foster and adoption system in the US is rife with issues and though it's a known problem that there's never enough babies up for adoption, it's also known that there are way too many kids who are seen as "Unaddoptable" who become issues to the overall system in the long run because the adoption system has its issues too. There isn't an easy solution here, and I don't think allowing abortions means anyones being flippant about the value of life, that doesn't mean a valid solution is a pushing for control over an action that isn't equatable to theft. Drawing analogies is an issue with this. There isn't a good one. We shouldn't be drawing analogies here if we can avoid it.
