i can't keep track of all these trump lawyers. was this the same one that quit recently over trump wanting to do the mueller interview?
Nah that's John Dowd, was in charge of representing Trump in the Mueller investigation. Trump still hasn't found anyone to replace him, every decent law firm in DC has turned him down
Sweet Manafort raid flashbacks, I can feel the Schadenfreude.
Lol I'm not sure how much of a surprise this is to anyone but https://twitter.com/CNN/status/983446488356478979?s=09
WEW lads https://twitter.com/MeetThePress/status/983463416139538432
Sadly, there will always a notably large amount who think Trump is innocent. Hopefully not too many, but then again, we still have people who think the Confederacy were innocent little victims.
it's HAPPENING https://twitter.com/costareports/status/983467343702609920
lmao i really thought nothing of worth would come from the whole Storym Daniels thing except a lot of embarrassment for Trump, but god damn this sure has escalated.
Holy shit I'm watching Trump's live reaction at this very moment and it's fucking incredible

need to get a drinking game going soon for every time trump says the phrase "witch hunt"
Who wants to bet on Mueller, Rosenstein, or Sessions being fired soon-ish?
Is anyone else watching Trump live on CNN right now? If you're not, you should be.
Would Cohen flip on Trump to save his own ass? As far as we know, everyone except Manafort has
It happened with Edison vs. Tesla, it's starting to happen with Reagan, and it'll happen with Trump vs. Mueller eventually. Even if the bad guy wins out in their own time - or even if they lose and leave behind a regiment of vengeful zealots - that legacy never lasts. As the years go by - as existing people and biases fade and fresh minds take their place - all we're eventually left with is a retrospective, clean of any remaining conflicts of interests or involved parties to muck up an impartial analysis. Doesn't matter how long it takes. It may take until an event transitions fully from living memory to recorded history before it can be properly investigated, but the truth will always find a way to make itself known. Eventually.
I have a feeling a lot of people are going on a nice little walk soon.
so nice of her to take time out of her busy schedule of making fun of school shooting victims to share her oh-so valuable insight of "if they did something bad, something bad could happen!"
I just missed it; what happened? I heard on Twitter that Trump sounded legitimately startled and unsettled?

How many times has he fucking said that by this point? Or something similar, along those lines?
it's a cute tactic he loves. try to scare everyone into siding with him by saying it's not him that's in trouble, it's ALL OF US OH NOOOO
Oh, and as someone else may have already said: schadenfreude engines activated.
he looks like he's about to cry
it'll be perfect timing after that recent story of him no longer listening to his chief of staff and losing the other lawyer that had the sense to try and stop him from getting interview by Mueller.
Quick recap of Trump's press conference for those of you who missed it: Trump referred to the FBI raid on Cohen's office as a "break-in" and called it "an attack on our country." Trump went on an unscripted and largely incoherent rant, calling the Mueller investigation a "witch hunt," saying the investigation was filled with "Democrats all, just about all," whining about Hillary's emails, and making vague accusations of conflicts of interest. You know, the usual misdirection. Trump criticized his Attorney General yet again for recusing himself from the Russia probe. Trump contradicted himself about his reasons for firing Comey, at one point saying it was Rosenstein's decision (per the memo) but shortly after saying "I did the right thing." Trump reiterated that it was Rosenstein who penned the memo for Comey's firing, not himself. A reporter asked Trump "Why don't you just fire Mueller?" and Trump said something along the lines of "We'll see." Interestingly, he refrained from making any vague threats. Seems he was being cautious to avoid making any implication about firing Mueller. Trump gave a couple vague answers regarding Syria as reporters were being herded out of the room, and then the feed cut back to CNN's newsroom. The desperation in his remarks is painfully obvious. This guy is terrified right now.
Well, if all he's done is "win" his entire life, then this is surely a very valuable - and very brutal - learning experience for him: what it's like to get dunked.
rip in peace AG Sessions
The amount of "b-but... attorney-client privilege" on pro-Trump sites is amazing
