I think the ones they got are long range Russian interceptors. What you're seeing is possibly just the first solid rocket booster stage.
Should I be scared?
Not unless Russia says they're going to do something about it.
If you live in Syria, probably.
A) Happy birthday
B) Calm down
No, this isn't going to lead to WW3. This is just a PR move for Trump, a show of force and nothing more.
Im pretty sure he could trip on a rug and he would have a tweet from 2013 saying people who trip on rugs are weak
I think the suggestion that donald was the more peaceful candidate was an outright lie though
Other than the russia problem, and of course death, I'm not sure I see a big problem with this.
It's not an invasion, it's missile and bomb strikes. It's not the same as iraq or afghanistan. More akin to libya, though with different circumstances. And I certainly don't trust trump to prevent what happened in libya, I can't help but thinking this is something that was kind of inevitable.
If assad wasn't a fucking moron and didn't use chemical weapons we wouldn't be in this position.
Whether it does or doesn't rests entirely on what Russia responds with.
"2015 Rugs come from Afghanistan, probably made by TERRORISTS. I'd never have them in my Oval Office. BAD ASTETICS"
" 2018 Cryin' Chuck Schumer got ketchup on my beautiful persian rug in the oval office during a meeting over McDonald's. Dems ruin everything! WEAK"
Can we not. I literally go on terminal leave in 99 days, and i just came back from a deployment in that part of the world.
It's not in Russia's national interest to obliterate itself over a middle eastern backwater whose sole value to them is a strategic port and a middle finger to the United States.
My view on it is that I think it's important that something be done to punish the use of chemical weapons, and I don't know what other form that could have taken
They're not playing at home. They're playing away.
They don't care if the stadium they're playing in gets annihilated if it lets them make a point.
Supposedly one carrier strike group is heading to the waters off Lebanon. The amount of gear and equipment in that one area is not good for anyone. Russia also has some of it's warships on standby, and it's possible we may have a naval engagement.
Seriously, fuck Trump.
No more war! We don't want a fucking war!
