"Who's the guy in charge of the Marine Corps?"
"-Mattis?"
"No. Who's the secretary of defense?"
God damn, my sides.
Fox news is just jerking trump off constantly saying how proud they are of him and how hes such a great leader compared to stinky obummer who did nothing apparently. Also insinuated obama should have fought russia over Crimea? Fucking bozo parade over there.
So much for Trump fighting for peace in Syria.
No, I'm not supporting Assad, I just want to say that it's not how you bring peace.
Actively using chemical weapons on civilians isn't conducive to peace either.
reddit admins amaze me by the fact they havent banned t_d yet, while they instead ban other dangerous subs.
"If he'd have been a piece of crap from the beginning, it wouldn't be so bad... but we made so many sacrificies... and now he's crapping all over us."
Hah... hahah... ahahahah...
*Twitch*
Yeah. Who could've seen Trump being a piece of crap from the beginning. IF ONLY WE KNEW.
people are apparently protesting in the streets of Damascus against coalition airstrikes
I think we just shot ourselves in the foot boys
People protest a lot of things. That doesn't always mean that what they are protesting for is right. I'm sure they aren't happy with being bombed, but they did just have a chemical weapons attack.
Also to note, Damascus is 150 miles away from the city that was attacked with chemical weapons. I'm sure they have a bit of separation from what is happening beyond just distance.
Keyword there is might.
May God have mercy on us all.
What the hell can they do to the US shy of actually hitting American targets? I can't think we're super attached to any FSA group in Syria that they could bomb in retaliation.
And they sure as hell can't sanction us, it'll only hurt their own economy.
Trump has made Alex Jones cry. That is unforgiveable.
For now I have faith that Matti's had the correct geopolitical experience to have this turn out with minimal lasting repercussions.
So far it seems chemicals were targeted and minimum civilian damage reported.
We'll see how this turn out but I'm hopeful the right message was sent.
"Space Command" is he trying to source Buzz Lightyear? This is beautiful.
This sounds like full on 1939 nazi propaganda
IIRC the only reason they haven't banned t_d is that it's an FBI honeypot.
Then again, we've seen so much success on the FBI's part with regard to preventing domestic terrorism /s
Would the retaliation not just be enacted in cyberspace where Russia seemingly has an advantage on the US?
This is the thing that always gets me. Russia and their allies pull bullshit of the highest order, stealing parts of other countries, using weapons of mass destruction, and hijacking elections, but if anyone responds "wow so you want to start a war with Russia? Can't we just talk this out?"
Yes damn you America for attacking Syria such a peaceful and nice place there was no gas attack the people were just sleeping on the floor I can't believe they done this Putin please help!!!!
как твой прoшёл день?

No proof
so now what? We just lobbed a bunch of tomahawks at Assad but I doubt this changes anything. If anything Russia won't rattle the sabre and just act like this didn't happen, much like the last strike, and continue with their campaign in Syria.
Likely nothing of importance was damaged, or the damage was minimized by moving important assets to Russian bases beforehand so this will likely have little actual effect.
The Russians and Syrians will keep on doing what they're doing as any further escalation is good for them, drawing the west into conflict and spin it as unprovoked aggression will help get support for the government in their native countries and reinforce the Us vs Them mentality they're building.
Its like the Cold War only this time the US is being led by a 12 year old.
