Enough activity that that is probably the best place to draw the line between Non-Alive and Alive. An Abortion before the 23rd week I think is perfectly fine. It's just a mass of cells, there's no sentient life, it's like taking out a non-functional organ. And even though it can be argued that just because there's activity in what will become the brain that doesn't mean it's life, it's the same function that makes a person a person, or makes them sentient, and so is a good place to draw the line. An abortion after this should be legal IF there's a real danger to the mother's life. Before the 23rd week should just be legal, everywhere
