Political polarization relentlessly is becoming more extreme, to the point that a range of ideologies may have unintentionally, or intentionally, painted themselves into a corner of extremism to escape others of their influences. But, ironically in a self-fulfilling predicament, with no way out, have been swaying similar ideologies, or even an entire political spectrum, towards a future that could self-destructively take everyone with them.
Undocumented immigrants commit almost no crime and contribute taxes to a system that they can barely use.
We. Exploit. Them.
They are not "illegal immigrants" as they have only committed a civil violation in the overwhelming majority of cases.

Automation has a far greater effect on availability (or lack thereof) of jobs than immigration. Furthermore most of those illegal immigrants are unlikely to be competing with you for work; and some sectors like agriculture rely on cheap immigrant labour (cue disingenuous argument pretending to advocate for immigrants RE: bad work conditions)
On that note, a study (I found it while looking up Canadian dairy stuff a little bit ago) noted that without immigrant labor dairy prices in the US would increase by 90%. The numbers cited didn't discriminate between legal or illegal immigrants, but 71% of the survey respondents had only low or medium confidence in the documents of their workers.

Most of the discourse ive seen from the right concerning these internment camps for children has been disgusting.
It goes beyond support- You don't really understand Trump's base until you see a picture of a crying toddler clinging to the bars of a cage with a cheerful caption and hundreds of comments from fuckin racists saying shit like "I would issue the guards some bolt cutters to remove the little scumbags fingers if he kept sticking them out of that cage" and "when do the firing squads arrive?".
