Tennessee judge rules the state can no longer revoke driver's license over fees

You're misunderstanding what I meant. What I meant is you'll be focusing on where you are and not how fast you're going so you can inadvertently end up going faster or slower than intended.
Depends on the exact area. My area only has that rule for residential streets. (Which are 25mph, right around the 50km/h you mentioned.) Streets above that speed limit are very common though. Most thoroughfares are 30-40mph (~40-64km/h) and in places up to 45mph (~72km/h) in my area and aren't covered by the same rule as residential streets.
Even some of the busier ones have speed limit signs that are far apart or are fairly frequently obscured. I nearly got a speeding ticket myself one time because there was a spot where the speed limit dropped from 45 to 35mph for about 200m and you can't see the stop sign until you're literally on top of it because it's obscured by this tree in the little gully between the sidewalk and street. Thankfully the cop who pulled me over accepted that I wasn't familiar with that particular area (because I wasn't, it was my first time on that street) so I wasn't able to slow down in time because I couldn't see the sign until I was too close to slow down.
Living in Massachusetts in certain parts of the state it's far more dangerous to follow the posted speed limit than to just go with the flow of traffic. Outside of the fact that our highway state troopers troop got disbanded due to corruption overall highway state troopers understand that and don't enforce the speed limit outside of severe circumstances. In my experience it's better to go with the flow of traffic than to follow a number on a sign because one is a reality while the other is a (loosely) enforced law. I wouldn't dare go 65mph in the Worcester area as I'd be practically run over by every other driver on the road not to mention the staties on the road are going at least 80mph if not more themselves.
