lot easier to blow the trains up than make them run on time isn't it

First thing I saw: Hilary Benn: "Will the Prime Minister confirm that [as he outlined was necessary due to the length of transition implementation required by the EU] that the transition period will be extended to 2022?" PM: "No." *sits down*

too bad it's not likely these people will suffer along with other common people even after all these bullshit they've caused. They might be hated by the people but I doubt their wealth will just be gone

There's a car overturned and it isn't stopping anytime soon https://twitter.com/bbclaurak/status/1016345518249795585?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet
What a shambles.
Tumbling down.
Here we... https://twitter.com/bbclaurak/status/1016350766288789504?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet HERE WE FUCKING GO!!!!!
Wait, what the fuck is going on? I checked the news during my lunch break and saw Batty Boris had left and now there's a confidence vote maybe coming up?
To be clear, it's a Tory leadership confidence vote we're talking about, not a parliamentary one. If they get 48 letters, then all Tory MPs will vote on whether they have confidence in May. If she wins the vote, she stays. If she loses, she is removed from office and a Tory leadership election is triggered, with May barred from standing.
It's coming home.
May will definitely win a confidence vote, most Tory MPs will be smart enough to know that standing by the leader is their best chance of survival. You're seeing resignations from all the dumbfucks that spent the last two years screeching about hard brexit and now its become obvious it isn't going to happen the best thing they can do is resign instead of attaching themselves to a soft brexit.
Seems like the chamber definitely emptied out for 5:30
I agree, the Hard Brexiteers are just using this no confidence vote as a next resort to show their continued dissatisfaction with the Government not chucking us off the cliff to see if we'll fly. I'm also hearing a lot of support in PMQs from various MPs who I'm sure have heard the rumours whilst in and out of the House. Many of them probably campaigned for Remain but some also support the (IMHO still very dubious if not outright not a thing) 'will of the people' begrudgingly. They will put their weight behind a soft Brexit. However, this proposal will fail as it's asking the EU to make concessions and so far they've shown no interest in doing so. Then she will fall on her sword anyway.
"So long and thanks for all the fish!"
the one human who is a worse option than the spineless hag may
lmao my mum's asshat boyfriend is blaming all this on Romanians somehow.
Remanians
Those pesky Romanians and their dastardly plans. I'm curious about how he came to this conclusion.
Yeah I'm curious too, can you tell us?
All I caught was that it's apparently some kind of plot to undermine Brexit or some shit As if Brexit needs any help to fall the fuck apart.
"3 million illegal immigrants voted for Hillary Clinton" is what I'm hearing. The propaganda bots are recycling storylines from the Trump project.
Can't wait to see the 3 million illegal Romanians plotted to ruin brexit headlines.

So basically the UK is going to Brexit so soft they're essentially not actually leaving the EU, they're just handing away all their rights as a founding member, including their potent veto. Here's an idea, cancel Article 50 and plead to retain as many rights and powers in the EU as you can, since you're not going to get any of the benefits Leave claimed you'd get. Too bad May's too stubborn and prideful to admit failure or let her government be defeated. If it's still "her" Tory government by the end of the week.
well to be fair it's not like we've done much with our vetoes other than piss and moan and force our special snowflake concessions, maybe we can get it back once we prove we deserve it
Such utter bollocks
