Because his entire campaign was built around blatant lies to desperate voters who wanted to believe what he was saying, and he derided any criticism against him as fake news, building himself up a cult image. He derives his support from emotional momentum, not facts -- he is the Feels Before Reals President like no other has ever been.
I'd wager that many diehard Trump voters don't actually know much about Trump the man, but they're too in love with Trump the candidate (which became president Trump) and his firebrand speeches about punishing everyone who's perceived to have done them (the voters) wrong: liberals, the poor and unemployed, blacks, Muslims, and non-white immigrants of all types.
Because said party now is a sham designed to sucker and shame people into supporting them in fears of seeming unpatriotic and going against GOD, all while raping the world for a profit. The Republicans as they are now are charlatans and con artists and, wowie, so is Trump!
So yeah, that’s why.
And the perfect wedge issue, abortion,
Because the GOP's platform is just a façade and a big farce. Trump represents what they really want
If this isn't the catalyst to fuck Trump in the ass I don't know what is. It's totally obvious what he's doing, Putin has him by the balls.
They never really cared.
They only care when they can hurt someone else with it
Sorry for the source but heres a livestream:

i'd say it's a mixture of a few different things -- (1) the moderates who are troubled by what they hear but think it's overblown, (2) the people who think it's all completely 100% fake, (3) the people who think it's real but only care about having power cus they hate the democrats so much, and (3) the people who think it's real but think he should be allowed to get away with it (re: adultery, racism, not paying employees, etc)
and all of them are getting their info from fox news, which gives them 100% positive coverage of our wonderful president
Well hitting back and going against him are two different things. Chances are these Republicans and Allies would condemn him because he is making them look bad, but in the end vote for anything he wants.
For those people thinking he is a patriot, please. Benedict Arnold is more of a patriot because he fought for the colonies before switching sides. If anything, Trump is more of a President Quisling (figured that thanks to Dictionary's twitter post, it's more fitting to call him a Quisling).

It's treason then
