I don't think you really understand the situation. It may have started as protest, but it quickly turned into a homeless camp. By the time police came in I wouldn't be surprised if there were any protesters actually left living in the camp.

I'm not aware of the local news, I just stopped watching the moment I saw the "VFN" logo and looked into how ridiculous the youtube channel was, then remembered that the premise of your thread turned out to be a lie anyways and basically just decided that it was almost certainly bullshit and not worthy of any of my trust or time.
