Pictured: the most useless gun on the planet
You're better off throwing the rounds at people
Theres a difference between a moped and a loaded 40 ton semi carrying anyhdrous ammonia, just like theres a difference between your grandads Sears 22 and a howitzer.
Hiding all firearms behind a universal license is dumb. Ignoring the constitutional infractions, encapsulating training for a thousand different types of firearms is foolish and would take weeks. Its incredibly inefficient and expensive to do that, so at that point just have mandatory conscription at 18 and let people buy whatever after their stint.
If licensing is going to be done it should be tiered, but in my opinion licensing shouldn't be done. It gives the federal government too much control over the ability for citizens to own firearms. At any point they could revoke every license and enforce a confiscation. It would take a perfect storm of circumstances for that to happen but I'm not a big fan of that possibility existing. Placing a barrier between a citizen and their constitutional right makes it unconstitutional, I wouldnt want a person to have to take a class before theyre allowed to use any other ammendment.
Uh oh you just sided with the boogieman man so you just invalidated yourself.
Continued to have my mind blown by how many people and news agencies think you're gonna be able to print off mg42s or some shit.
You can definitely make some useful parts or tools, but then again so can any woodworker or metalworker.
repeal the fucking NFA already
FFS, can the government just stop already? People can build guns, it's legal.
might as well die now
Lmao what?
I've literally already printed part of one of those, about a month ago. The files are not a secret to anybody.

whoa... this is crazy... it's almost like people have already had easy access to information on how to build a gun from scratch and 3D printing a gun is a far more expensive and inefficient method to produce an inferior result
3D printing isn't expensive
It's almost cheaper than REGULAR printing because of the abysmal ink prices.
Also someone on Twitter summed up how I feel about the restraining order:

At this point its like defending coloured people on a nazi forum by saying gun laws should be stricter. Enjoy your death dealing weapons Americans.
Congratulations. You can't even read the thread!
If you want I can restructure that by saying most gun laws inherently target minority groups, which are the most effected by crime.
Likewise, it's primarily motive is targeting race and low-income areas.
Nothing like implying the low-effort anti-gun posters in the thread are noble anti-racists and everyone else is literally Hitler.
Not to mention we're completely fine with people who do propose gun law restrictions as long as they're not being insufferably condescending and are willing to concede.
Thankfully you're here to teach us how to have civilized discussions on the Internet.
You guys are seriously happy with 3D printed guns being made available? Insane...
The fact that Americans on this forum are so much more passionate about firearms than actual important personal freedoms being eroded by government surveillance is crazy to me.
Higher tariffs on everything? - No Problem
Clampdown on Internet(Net Neutrality)? - No Problem
Mass Surveillance(NSA and other shit)? - No Problem
Issues with Police(Police brutality, racial profiling, trigger happy cops)? - No Problem
Violation of Human Rights(Taking children away from migrants)? - No Problem
Government that appears to be making decision based on their self-financial gain(Everything)? - No Problem
Medicine where you rather die than be in dept for life? - No Problem
But when it comes down to gun control or some sort of restriction - people seem to go nuts.
I gave up trying to understand that mentality long time ago as I doubt I will ever understand it.
Surely anyone here who has worked a customer service job would be scared shitless about the general public being able to obtain/carry guns easier.
I was just trying to point out the large amount of gun lovers on this forum.
people can care about multiple things at once
please don't lump in an entire spectrum of users under 1 mindset, it's a gross look
People have been up in arms over all of these things what the fuck are you going on about?
Certainly doesn't seem like it, because it seems nothing is changing.
Issue Occur -> People bitch about it for few weeks -> Forget about It.
Nothing is changing because the party in power supports those things. Meanwhile we are seeing areas that are traditionally seen as safe areas for Republicans are actually seeing actual challenges and democrats are currently polling ahead last I checked. Also the practice of seperating families was (supposedly) ended due to public outcry.
It doesn't seem like it because you're ignorant of it.
People don't just go crazy when they pick up a gun, it doesn't whisper murderous thoughts into your ears. Get real.
I've worked in retail and have seen customers carrying guns and was never afraid of them. My dad conceal carries and he hasn't randomly gone postal.
Try getting a better understanding of things before passing judgement, though I get the feeling you don't care for getting a better understanding. You'd rather just drop a zinger on us crazy Americans with our scary death dealing guns and our lust for murder.
You know, if they were trying to argue for the banning of a book a lot more people would be up in arms. But, you know, the Founding Fathers could never have predicted muskets would become assault weapons printing presses would become computers and the internet.
I wonder if a paper book of CNC G-Code for an AR15 will get more of a response?
It's about making it easier for people to shoot up a place not the gun whispering to shoot up a place. I am sure you and your Dad are well rounded people, but everyday I come across really thoughtless and unhinged people who I couldnt imagine feeling safe around knowing they are carrying on them.
People can be thoughtless and unhinged sure, but do you think they'd really go to the lengths of killing you or attempting to kill you? Sure customers are shitty, but I don't think they'd go that far (usually). Most just get passive aggressive and petty and shit.
If a psychopath is going to try to kill people, they'll do it any way they can. It doesn't matter if guns are banned or knives are banned or whatever. They already aren't following the laws when they decide they want to kill someone, so why would anything else stop them? These restrictions getting relaxed wouldn't affect how much crime there is, it just lets law abiding citizens do more things.
I'd be lying if I said I liked guns being the way they are in the US, but please put more effort into getting this opinion across.
Oh cool, about time. Good job you posted it in the gun subforum and in a thread that has no posts and doesn't seem to get linked to. Or at least no-one's linked it to me.
G. Drive is blocked where I work but if this is legit then I'm looking forward to going through it at home. No doubt
When did fp get populated by soccer moms?
