This is a guy who thought he was being persecuted for being a white male.

"If you're going to hate me, hate me for my conservative view points." Will do.
like to be quite honest. If you are a white dude living in the US of A and think you're being more persecuted than minorities. I think you need a trip to the mental hospital and get checked to see if you have paranoid schizophrenia.
You know what, fuck it. Deplorables
I'd like to think they're just both trolls, or people undergoing the effects of online anonymity, but you just can't be certain these days. (Replace "Unreal Tournament 2004" with "Facepunch", obv.) https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/132319/ea8fc2b9-4c36-4506-9a24-aead9ea2b6d6/i-mHzvgPv.jpg
@MrRalgoman Hey, I just wanted to let you know that people have spent/donated 200 coins in outrage over your recent comments in this thread. Also, the bounty on your admitting what you said was fucked up and that your facts were fucked and don't match reality (I have sources which disprove every singular claim you've made in this thread so far) now stands at 80 coins. 80 coins - all you have to do is admit the above; unless, of course, you have no interest in reality and no respect for those who you claimed we should. This'll be my last attempt/reminder. If you don't have the intellectual honesty to withdraw at the very least your claim that these are 'not as bad as internment camps, and to say as such is disrespectful to the survivors of those camps (because you imply that they would say these places are not as bad)' then you are truly lost and should reconsider posting in Polidicks from here-on out.
Firgof Umbra I hope you understand that if MrRalgoman is a troll (which is more than likely) you are giving him the time of his life right now. I can't imagine a better reward for a troll than to have multiple other people offer to bribe them to stop trolling.
There is presently no other means to stop said trolling. Trolling is, more or less as the rules go, legal - even in Polidicks. The most we can do about it is to fully and thoroughly demonstrate in a public fashion that a particular user is not worth investing any time into by demonstrating how little they care for factual debate or analysis - reinforced by showing that not only were they wrong and don't care to be correct but they wouldn't even correct themselves for a substantial purse of coins. His opinion is contrary to the facts and he posted without effort to elicit a reaction (in other words he shitposted). All of these things are specifically called out as things which moderators can not ban users over and - accordingly - things users should not bother reporting to modstaff. So, the most we can do is prove they're a troll and thereby convince users to refuse engaging with them. By showing that engaging with said user is completely pointless, then any further trolling becomes pointless. To convince people that engaging with them is pointless you must show proof: that's what's being built here.
And in attempting to show that the user is not worth investing any time into, you and several other people invested plenty of posts into attempting to take him down a peg. All you're doing is validating him. He doesn't care whether anyone listens to him or takes him seriously, he just wants a reaction, which you and others are giving him in full.
The only way to stop those reactions is to prove beyond doubt that they're a troll.
It is hard to tell what is trolling and what is not when the core of GOP rhetoric these days appears to be trolling and racism
homie I'm a descendant of holocaust survivors and let me fuckin' tell you
If conclusive proof that someone is a troll would've stopped people engaging them, do you really believe a Tudd situation would have happened in the first place? All you do, and have done so far, is proven without a doubt that trolling works for derailing threads and gaining attention from regular posters. To engage is to have already lost, and to attempt to show people they shouldn't engage by doing so yourself will, in my view, more likely lead to people seeing they can flame and shame someone for an easy ego fix, even if they are a troll and supposedly not worth their time.
step 5 is execution by firing squad
I will agree that these can be compared with the Japanese internment camps in two ways, the living situation and the working for food. Other than that, these children weren't taken from there homes. They aren't hated by Americans, they receive MUCH better treatment than the Japanese did in internment camps. People were stuck in internment camps for years, these children have been held for much less time. However, I hold steady on my belief that comparing these to Nazi concentration camps is outrageously absurd. I will amend my statement: comparing these holding centers to Nazi concentration camps is disrespectful to all those that suffered and DIED in Nazi concentration camps. And I will say again, I don't agree with what Trump did, ordering the children to be separated from their families was really fucking stupid and he should've done things differently.
Really want to die on this hill buddy?
Are these children being starved to death? Are they being worked so hard that they fall over dead? Are we conducting medical experiments on them? Are they being thrown into gas chambers? Prove to me any one of those things are happening in these camps and you will change my mind.
Hey buddy we know they aren't literal concentration camps. But they're slowly turning into them due to the amount of apathy and neglect ICE and the Trump Administration has shown. So shut the fuck up, we get it. But that still doesn't downplay the fact what they're doing is fucked.
Finally you fucking get it. I'm saying these aren't literal concentration camps that a lot of people here seem to believe.
"Who are you going to believe: Me, someone who's never been on the inside of a concentration or internment camp, or these concentration camp and internment camp survivors?"
So your entire argument for the past several dozen posts has been literally nothing but splitting hairs over EXACTLY how similar one human rights crisis is to another one. There really is no arguing this: you're an ass and this thread would have been unambiguously better off if you had just kept your autistic obsession with accurate analogies in check.
So you're denying that people in Nazi concentration camps were starved, that they were overworked to death, experimented on and then ultimately thrown away like used trash via gas chambers?
For anyone curious about the actual definition of 'concentration camp': https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/133737/c4545731-ca1b-41fc-bf70-ed60c5ac8add/image.png Therefore, these 'trump hotels' meet categorically every part of the definition to qualify the description of 'concentration camp' - but especially the areas/facilities assigned to children - because that's literally the point of these camps for Trump: they are people he is forcing the capture of to commit psychological and physical abuse on which is so depraved and so shocking that it causes people to reconsider seeking refuge in the United States. The only way he could think of to dissuade refugees was to show them that if they tried to cross into the US they would face horrors worse than those they had just escaped. Sure, he won't order them shot dead -- but he will twist their children, scar their minds and bodies, and scatter those families to the winds for even daring to think of being a US Citizen. The point is literally to inflict as much suffering as he can legally get away with - not to 'prosecute criminals'. That makes them political prisoners the very second ICE has them in cuffs. The staffing of these facilities is intentionally poor and not screened at all for criminal records of any sort. Though he may not be killing the people en masse it is absolutely his objective to kill the families.
We have moved from "these aren't concentration camps" to "well they aren't, like, Aushwitz concentration camps" so I guess that's progress even though nobody ever said they were?
Except only slightly because apparently, when you literally meet the definition of 'concentration camp', you can't "literally call them Concentration Camps".
When I originally posted I meant Nazi concentration and Japanese internment camps, which I should have made more clear.
But you just agreed they're like japanese internment camps? These are kids, separated from their families, in camps. The japanese kids weren't separated at the very least. These kids are. One is dead, eight have been sexually assaulted as we know of at this time, more reports are coming in. Are you certain this is the hill you want to die on dude
"We're fucking lucky these aren't concentration camps, because if they were, and we were to condemn them publicly and call out in rage against Hitler about it we'd earn ourselves a bullet in the head from the Nazi SS." You, last page
