• Trump: Donald Jr. did nothing illegal in Russian meeting over Clinton 'dirt'

If an old orange lunatic has such a cult, a young attractive smart guy will have the entire GOP at his control.
The man's not used to anyone opposing him with actual authority to follow through on a punishment. I'm convinced that Trump believes he's done nothing actionable, and even if he has, who's going to take on the Trumpster? He's got the best lawyers.
Trump's ranting about Hillary is going to bite him in the ass. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2018/08/06/trump-is-trying-to-argue-collusion-isnt-illegal-but-hes-admitted-it-is-on-multiple-occasions/ https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/788402786970939392 So collusion isn't something that makes one "CROOKED" now? https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/788123233442824192 This one hits a few bingo boxes at the same time! https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1023664624259014656?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Projecting harder than an IMAX theatre.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/right-turn/wp/2018/08/07/tweet-by-tweet-trump-digs-himself-into-a-deeper-legal-hole/ This opinion piece makes a very interesting and exciting point: As we have discussed previously, President Trump’s tweet regarding the real purpose of the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting is injurious to Trump’s legal position regarding the possible underlying crime (i.e. seeking help from a foreign national to win a campaign) and the obstruction case against him (e.g. drafting the false statement about the meeting). But there is another way in which Trump has hurt himself. Bob Bauer, former White House counsel, writes: > Trump is in the middle of fighting over the special counsel’s request for an interview. His legal team argues that the White House has already supplied all the information Mueller would need from him; he has nothing to add. They have attempted to fortify this case with the claim that the special counsel lacks the constitutional authority to compel this testimony from the president. > Now, however, Trump has put forward an unequivocal statement of the purpose of the Trump Tower meeting, acknowledging his son, Donald Trump, Jr. convened the meeting for the purpose of obtaining “dirt” on Hillary Clinton. Mueller can rightly point out that what Trump knows about the meeting—and where he learned it, and when—is precisely why the interview is necessary. Likewise, to the extent Trump ever contemplated invoking the Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination, his public statements have now waived that right. He cannot refuse to talk under oath if he has talked about it openly. Let me predict what Trump tweets about this weekend, when he realizes what his big mouth just did: I never said that, it's fake news spread by Crooked Hillary.
"she hacked my twitter account and posted that, I never said anything like that"
Watch some of his tweets start disappearing. I know he's not allowed to delete them, but I bet he tries to anyway
He's already gotten away with deleting previous tweets (and of course, not held accountable in literally any way). Why do you still expect the GOP to actually hold their God Emperor accountable? Standards only apply to liberal Presidents.
Damn if you want boomers to believe something all you have to do is print it on a t shirt with a dumb fuckin graphic on it Next season's wear: a badass flaming grim reaper with the words "THERE WAS NO COLLUSION"
maybe we should try to use that against them and put a picture of Trump with a Hitler 'stache on a t-shirt, and try selling it to them
