Gun law changes dropped by Tasmanian Liberals following community backlash

Ah my b, I wasn't aware of that. I'm sure if the Hughes Amendment or the NFA were taken to the SC today, many of their provisions would be struck down based on more recent judgments.
The irony completely eludes you. Not only are all three of your posts completely "Nuh uhs" with actually zero fucking sources to back it up and only false ones that have nothing to do with what you're arguing about, you don't actually explain any of your points beyond going "x is y, dood". Good job man. Keep on patting yourself on the back because trust me, anyone that actually looks at your posts can see you for the condescending asshole you have been to me.
It happens every time when a gun is mentioned.
I remember months back an article on expansion of how gun owners in Czechia can use their guns, meaning they could now defend the country from an outside threat.
One side literally acted as if were to now descend into total war scenario, the other acted as if we were poor oppressed nation up until that point.
It was dumb and I laughed my entire way through the thread.
Or if your only experience of "silencers" is from movies where evil contract killers use them to kill people in densely crowded cities.
I was aware of it. That decision was based on ignorance because nobody mentioned or was aware of the shotguns which were already in service at the time during the hearing. It’s even less of an excuse now because law enforcement and the military use short barreled weapons exclusively in door breaching and urban combat. The ubiquitous M4 or MK18 carbines you see throughout the military are considered short barreled rifles. The same goes for most shotguns they carry.
I don't actually disagree with that sentiment, I'm just pointing out a factual inaccuracy in what he said. He said it was never challenged, but it was. The fact that times have changed and the decision made back then is largely not relevant based on the logic they used is a different matter than whether it was challenged in the first place.
