Jeremy Hunt[sic]: "UK would prosper under no-deal Brexit."

You know the example I posted earlier? That comes from a real life conversation I had with someone. They weren't an idiot either, they have a masters degree, but they're fully convinced that we can do "it" again but never really clarify what that means.
A lot of Brexiteers and Leave voters seem to have this idea that Britain is a caged lion, ready to be loosed onto the world and become a major power again, without realising that we don't stand a hell's chance of even competing against the current great powers. Heck, we even struggle to compete against our neighbours now. But it's this misguided belief that, since we were }BIG{ before, it'd be a bish bash bosh job to do it again.
Jordan Peterson has a PHD. The ability to make it through a degree doesn't prevent someone from being an idiot, all it takes is willful denial of facts and logic and the willingness to support or put forth an asinine argument just because it supports something you agree with.
Well, that was me. Glad somebody spotted the clandestine joke though!
