• Ex-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen discussing plea deal with prosecutors

Oh, this is just delicious. Seeing Trump's most notorious and long-serving legal muscle turn on him with such resolute condemnation - I mean sure, the guy's a coward, but by god am I getting some grade-A schadenfreude right now. Sate me more with your words, Cohen. And then piss off, ya spineless traitor.

We all know the prosecutors are just part of Mueller's biased witch hunt so obviously they believe it!!
In the space of a day Manafort is convicted of 8 crimes, enough to put him away for the rest of his life, and Cohen pleads guilty while his lawyer signals that he'll cooperate with Mueller. Can't wait for the twitter meltdown.
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1032247043992023040 I wonder how long this bus will be. I hope Cohen enjoys a nice tire massage
i don't wanna get excited because i've seen way too many "first dominos" fall in the past year, enough for it to feel like a goddamn lifetime's worth of dominos, but this one feels pretty friggin' big yeah? like this one might actually go somewhere?
Charges won't be brought against the president unless they know 100 percent he will be convicted. Don't get excited until it actually happens
None of this will go anywhere so long as Republicans control congress. Republicans are practically making that a campaign promise.

Speak of the devil, here's the twitter tirade.
This is the funniest thing that has come from him since covfefe. If I didn't know any better, I'd day he was being self aware and making a joke. Seriously, play the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme and read this tweet.
"You tell him about the illegal stuff you did, and he blabs. Sad!"
If anything, it shows cohen has more moral fiber to admit a threat to national security than keep his mouth shut with the money.
Saving his own skin is Cohen's only motivation here. It's not about morals or ethics or anything else, just about keeping the pot he's in from boiling over. If any of this was out of a genuine fear for the country then he would have done something long ago without the need for his balls to be put in a vice first.
When you start meddling into Russian affairs where you suddenly end up dead in a suicide with 5 gunshots to the back of the head, I could see the fear of coming out immediately.
This is like that optical illusion of the spinning ballerina, where depending on how I read it I get two interpretations. "I'm guilty and my lawyer blabbed - so don't hire him, or he'll spill your secrets too!" "I'm not guilty and my lawyer lied - so don't hire him, he'll lie to cover his own ass!" In reality, it's clearly 1. Trump is guilty as sin - but then, in spin city it's 2. It's like Trump is saying both at the same time - telling the truth and lying at the same time. What a strange man.
Pretty much this. When they raided his office they got enough to nail his ass to the wall. He's trying to minimize his time in jail by cooperating with the investigation.
Holy shit it's finally happening
I think this is the first trump tweet that's actually made me genuinely laugh
Lol what a petty little bitch. It’s like your friend forgets your birthday once, so you announce to the world “Looking for some birthday fun? Don’t invite Mike!”
There is no such thing in the US constitution, by design. This isn't Star Wars, Trump isn't about to declare the Empire of the US with himself as Supreme Ruler
If Trump tried emergency powers bs it might go to the Supreme Court, and Schumer said Trump's pick Kavanaugh has an "almost monarchical" view of the presidency.
This is the thing to keep in mind, especially with midterm elections coming up. Republicans will never vote or support a vote to impeach the president as long as his approval rating is low enough to threaten their re-election through loyalty to him. They must be voted out of office to ensure Trump is adequately punished for any offenses he has committed.
This is what indirectly communicating intent to pardon a witness against you looks like. We should know by now that the institutions and documents we count on to protect us are highly vulnerable to demagogues who oppose the rule of law. Many of Trump’s supporters have already demonstrated their willingness to go along with blatantly unconstitutional acts. And that’s under the best of circumstances. Emergencies are far from the best of circumstances; things can change very quickly when people are scared and therefore not thinking rationally. Bottom line: if you think something along the lines of “it can’t happen here,” you are vulnerable. It can happen anywhere, hence the saying: “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.” Those words were not spoken in reference to some external threat, but the threat from within.
Except he destroyed his entire career aiding trump's punk ass. I'm sure he has some charges of this or that without dealing with orange, but that would never had come to light if he had never worked with him.

Its like he purposely wording it to avoid calling out any specific actions or people because he doesn't have the backbone to take a firm stand against Trump or his cronies.
The real question: who is Individual 1? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 We may never know https://twitter.com/shaneharris/status/1032022551835410432?s=19
Clearly it's Hillary Clinton from an alternate timeline. Presumably one Cohen escaped after the earth was reduced to radioactive ruin 3 days after she was inaugurated.
