Trump is the curious and deeply toxic product of - inherited wealth - a lifelong experience of being the CEO of private companies, meaning no one had the power to say no to him - a lifelong raging narcissistic streak that's full-on untreatable now, and the self-delusional compulsion to lie that comes with it - an incredibly immature and combatative stance towards any competitor - zero understanding of governance or international diplomacy - believing his own talking points of grievance politics used to capture and maintain the angry white conservative vote The result is a selfish asshole who can't stop lying (averaging 7+ a day since inauguration) and has been primed to be a dictator by his entire professional life, with only the law in a position to hold him accountable (and he's paid his way out of trouble every time). With a Republican Congress complicit and enabling him, he's got no reason to hide his inner dictator and not push other nations around like he did anyone who pissed him off as a corporate tyrant. He is replacing diplomatic contact with sanctions, except for with countries that suck his dick (he gladly meets with Kim and Putin, but he acts like a cunt to America's traditional allies and has effectively declared Canada to be a national security threat to the US).
If America is to win Everyone else must lose
But Britain is exiting the EU soon Checkmate Trump
Technically he has done various things against Russia, he has sanctioned them so he's not 100% inactive, but I'd say how he acts regarding Iran has shown that he's very shit at negotiating for a more secure U.S.
Hopefully these tariffs will be gone and the prices are back to normal by the time I'm ready to buy a 718 GTS.
Seems like he's done more to protect them than to punish them though, including a lot of work to lower sanctions or straight up ignore them.
Pretty much all japanese and korean cars are built on US soil, so it would do nothing. fun fact, more Japanese cars are built on US soil than american ones by a huge margin.
I see more Fords in one day than I see products from European makes over an entire month. People over here generally don't want Euro cars and, mostly, it's because they cost a small fortune to maintain. Why spend $25,000 on a generic 4-door sedan or hatch that's gonna require $300 oil changes when you could spend $25,000 on a generic 4-door that's fine with a 19.99 Jiffy Lube Special every 6 months or so? The offerings from Detroit and Tokyo can do the job just as well as what Bavaria can offer, but they cost a small fraction to maintain and insure.
