Trump says flipping in the legal system should be outlawed.

This is like asking for a weapon to be nerfed because someone spent the whole match killing you with it
People are saying he should resign, this is Trump we're talking about, the moment he resigns is when he becomes just another guy and won't have the protections of the Presidency on his side. No fucking way would he do that to himself, as much as I'd like him to.
Sorry, explain how he's not "entirely" wrong to say that aiding federal investigations into federal crimes should be "outlawed"?
Because cops and feds alike use all kinds of shady and quasi-legal tactics to get confessions or incriminating evidence.
Cops can and will straight up lie to you. "We already know xyz, just admit it or we'll make things worse for you." Scare tactics too. "Give me what I want to know or I'll make sure the judge puts you away for life."
Cops sometimes get focused on one suspect then start bending the evidence to fit the suspect rather than looking at other possibilities. Shit like this is often why minorities get disproportionately convicted for crimes they didn't commit, or disproportionately long sentences compared to white people or wealthy people who can afford decent lawyers.
I'm not saying "hurr durr Trump is innocent" (he obviously isn't) like you projected into my post. I'm saying a lot of the tactics cops and feds use should probably be outlawed even if they happen to be benefitting us in this case.
I'm willing to take on your devil's avocado for consideration, but you and I both know that's not what's in Trump's mind when he's saying this. The context he's saying it in makes it clear.
probably why the main point of my original post what this half of the sentence don't ya think
Coercing someone to confess isn't really the same as flipping though. If you lie that you're guilty when you know you aren't, the legal system won't bother questioning you. But if you're being coerced into providing evidence against someone else that isn't actually true, then it'll only muddle the investigation and potentially land you in even hotter water.
uhhh
In your post that I quoted perhaps?
In response to Trump saying "flipping should be illegal"
And "flipping" is really just aiding a federal investigation.
So...?
