I can see Trump's point here. The market may very well dip if trump is impeached in the same way it swelled when he was initiated into office. It's no secret that trump is on the corporation's sides. He's letting them run wild. When trumps reign is over and a government steps in that is more consumer friendly and less conglomerate friendly, I imagine the markets will inevitably dip. By that time I can only imagine that market's natural gains will end up leveling it out and the dip won't be too massive.

Honestly, if Trump had managed to work it so that he was the driving force behind the stock market and it would in fact crash if he was impeached, I'd say let it.

for comparison, Nixon left as oil prices went up 400%, whereas bill clinton was impeached in 1998 and the market kept rising.

I disagree. I think that the GOP has moved into actual fascist territory and needs to be slapped hard. Let the President fall, let the vultures tear the party apart. It cannot continue to exist in its current form, but needs to be burnt to the ground and built up again, with all its corrupt, criminal elements purged. Even the Democrats badly need that sort of shakeup, but they're not even a fraction as bad.

As someone that isn't part of a corporation, isn't part of a big company, and thankfully isn't part of the Cult Of Trump, I take it that he means that there will be no change whatsoever. We are looking at an illegitimate puppet government founded on lies, cheating, and treason with the singular goal of instating kleptocratic authoritarianism throughout the country. "Stability" is the least of our concerns. "Stability" is the last fucking thing our country wants or needs in the face of such a threat. Not deposing Trump and his co-conspirators would enable them to continue overturning the rule of law and undermining our democracy.
