If you want to oversimplify the process to a more easily mockable, albeit shitpostingly, level, feel free.
How did they determine that you weren't unsuitable?
By your past history and questions. Cops for example are exempt from jury duty entirely because of the inherent bias. Its impossible to be 100% unbiased, that goes with the judge too.

Come up with an alternative then.
Juries are the best way we have.
The alternative is to have an arbiter decide.
You guys lose your mind when this is applied in a corporate context, I can't imagine you'd support it in a public government sense.
The jury verdict form has been released and verifies it was 11 to 1 on the hung counts. Also, two counts were initially marked as guilty but later crossed out.
